it's 11:20 pm
it's a moon-risen domain
rusty truck of Ford 1978
unlatch the faded tailgate of white and pale turquoise

off a Denton N. Elm highway
sitting in the heat of the ocean air.

The trees but a silhouette
and the moon a rustic orange
feeling heavy sentiments of cascading hair ending in curls
sickly eyes with blue shadow and glazed look that pierced.

2 minutes of absence growing fonder
and I wanted it to last for much longer.
The moon shines a cool blue tonight
as we entwine our fingers, laying on the baseball field
beneath diamond heavens. We lie
in silence, in the moments when the Universe reveals
itself, and contemplate the distances between one celestial body to
another, the space between
us growing as I turn south
to find Orion while you seek Cassiopeia in the north.

Shooting stars cross the sky, and we wish separately on dead
stars and dead dreams, lights already grown red and extinguished
as we whisper in the dark, passing
between phases.

And in the end we're all left searching.

Yeah, I’m fine
actually
I’m in a pool
one inch of Ok
Face down
Thumbs up
Yeah, I’m ok
drowning in that one inch
that used to be four
It’s draining away
But still sometimes
I feel face down in OK
you had a keychain
of pain and the summer rain
hides your hurricanes.

the grass wasn't green.
marine decays in eighteen
streams of dopamine.

i see sapphire fools
limp and drool their molecules
into em'rald pools.
Upon the shores of Malachite
Next to the cobalt seas
Under molten silver slivers of moonbeams
That shatter on the crystal icing
Covering the diamonded waterfall
By the golden sand . . .
Gather the Unicorns
Of Neptune , Uranus , and Pluto and beyond
Playfully cavorting between
Steel seas and emeralded mountains
On the frozen sands of time unchanged
For a thousand Earth's comings

But it's just a dream
A lunacy , a nothingness in the night
All my Unicorns have taken to flight
And were never there
Or were they ?

All the frozen seas . . .
Are now warm Florida Keys
Under a full August moon
And all the mountains . . .
Are impossible fears
That have faded into prairies
Swelling like seas
And there are no proof prints
In the sands of time
Of a far away race
Frozen in time

Poetic T
And their hearts were pure diamond
For they would always be
Tolerant,
Noble,
Sympathetic
To the needs of those around,
But they were susceptible
To the weakness of those
That were
Fragile
Flesh
Human
Emotion would taint the pure,
What was once solid changed
With each transgression
The heart changed
Ruby
Raged upon those around
Uncontrollable cracks did show
Emerald
Eyes ignited by the wanting of others
Love, belongings, tainted colours showed.
Amber
They could not take the emotion
Confusion
Frustration
Depression
Was the end of many, on to the
"Shards of tears"
Would many then fall
Torn to pebbles, now resting beneath
They were once pure heart
Diamond,
"Shone through"
But once the seed planted it grew,
"Then the inevitable"
The sins turned a heart to stone
Frozen with emotion,
Erased just cold  rock now stood
A frozen moment,
Life,
Stillness,
Corruption
Had taken another ancient
For one day all would be but rock,
Those that helped the beginnings of a species
Now all is corrupted by the taint that is **man..

I’ll tell you how the Sun rose—
A Ribbon at a time—
The Steeples swam in Amethyst—
The news, like Squirrels, ran—
The Hills untied their Bonnets—
The Bobolinks—begun—
Then I said softly to myself—
“That must have been the Sun”!
But how he set—I know not—
There seemed a purple stile
That little Yellow boys and girls
Were climbing all the while—
Till when they reached the other side,
A Dominie in Gray—
Put gently up the evening Bars—
And led the flock away—
