They will tell you
All poetry has been written
There is nothing new
Under the moon
But let me tell you
They don’t know you
You are as unique
As the DNA that exists
Within your frame
The ripples on your thumbprint
No one ever had the same.

Listen...

You have something to say
Say it proudly
Say it boldly
Never let them scold you.

Never let them make you go away.
I love it when someone tells me to keep writing. You should keep writing too!

I'm afraid
If I’m awake much longer
I wont wake up
Tomorrow

Meera
You used to call me your Moon
And that wasn't a lie
I was your Moon
And she was your Sun
The moon is nothing but a cold rock which reflects sun's light in its absence

Oh lover,
I ravaged your plans.
You said you knew
How you would
Lay me down;
Instead,
I took your hand
And led you
Down the
Stairs- Heaven bound.
You said you wanted
Me in
Every corner,
Until none remained.
So, we did
As lovers do.
After going
Down the
Stairs,
I sat you down
On an accent chair,
Then removed
My clothes too.
Your heart raced,
And you looked
Surprised;
The rest,
Is left untold.
We did
As lovers do.
Just reminiscing on a memory from a while ago... my current reality isn't this exciting...ha-ha. :)
Those times—when the world is burning
I’ll light my cigarette on it
and watch it go
let it be.
Paddle
Paddle
Paddle
Up and on my feet
Falling, thrill of the initial fall
To catch the ride
Colliding currents crash waves
Into mental deadlock days
Winter swells come at shore break
Building momentum and grind
Like breaks at homesick Pipeline
Ride, curl and slide
Rip
Sweep the sides
Slick
Don’t choke this good vibe
Stay on this wave
