The infancy of evil,
infirmities youth
Children surrendered
—caught in its truth

His were blue
So yours were brown
He was cruel
So you were kind
At least on the outside
Maybe all you were
Was not him

Your hazel eyes
Were like bright
Glittering crystals
Gazing at me
They were lusciously pleasing
Vividly dreamy images
That made me feel like
I was falling into ecstasy
Like my whole being
Had dropped out of sight
Into the fire and desire
Of your flaming firmament
Took me down before
I had a chance to see
What was happening
I was caught up
In your moonlighted masculinity
It was all the bliss
That I would ever wish for
All the fulfillment
That I ever needed from you
the poems here are
really interesting
they come back to me later
like words from a song

whether a dramatic odyssey
or a page
ripped out of your diary

these silent lines really speak to me
out loud in my head
as I read along
If you were gay
I would savor every day
That I spend with you
Every embracing hug
Every fascinating glance
All the love that we make
All the engaging ambiances
And unconditional kisses
Our rainbow souls attuned
Shimmering as majestic
As the night moon
Moods are in synch once again
with this monsoon season
raindrops come with threads of pain,
maybe there's a good reason
why pain...rhymes with rain.

there's pen and paper
here...there...everywhere
for, when rain pours
is when my poetry flows
softly weeping its woes
like ice...that quietly thaws.

(just a poem)
Instead of know yourself,
Better yourself
Can I spin gold from straw
or straw from gold
or good from bad or make
promises and break them?
I deal in snake oil and magic.
Never give me your heart.
