Mrs Timetable Mar 2020
Barney I didn't love purple tress
Shimmering metallic loud dress

Giant white clip silky hair bow
Cake top decor I shoulda said no

It was leftover 80’s -1993
The resentment set in quickly

My groom mate
Was difficult to take

For my affections he made a play
At my betrothed mans dismay

A crooked headed doll on display
Why did it have to be this way

Only redeeming thing was snaps
Of me looking right at my sweet

Going forward I said never again
No bridesmaid for family or friend

But Im glad she chose me for that
Big day with her Mister

She is after all
My big sister
I begged her to change the purple tone of the dress. But it was her wedding. The things we do for our family.

I must tell you of when Bridezilla came
But beg, please repeat not of this true tale
She had a dream, anyone she would maim
If they stood between her white fairytale
A gasp, a screech, her eyes went wide as wells
A maid’s bouquet lost, bride began to melt
Her skin flushed red, her eyes could only swell
A lovely wedding still be born, maids felt
She barked for them to leave the room at once
Hushed whispers rose throughout the dainty church
Such small matters could cause her to denounce
Finally, the bride at last emerged
Of course, the union came to be, oh yes
But not before creating undue stress
First time writing a sonnet. This was a challenge.

I saw you at a wedding once
you're so handsome and slick
so cool with lumberjack looks
my heart flluttered with thrill

Y'never knew that I looked at you
from the corners of my spectacles
You are like a graceful panther
I would be willing to be a prey

But...

I accepted my limitations though
your whole attention was on her
the bridesmaid who glittered
romance budded in the atmosphere

And I stood there to witness...
dedicated to that guy whom i saw at my cousin's wedding hahahahhahahaaaaa!!!!!
