My Dear Poet
I’m trying hard,
not to think you’re unkind
But your footprints in my heart
have left me scars in my mind.

It's 11:11
and for the first time
after a very long time
I'm wishing for myself
and not for you
My Relationship With You

I give
and you take
I give
and you take
I give
and you take.

This relationship,
built on what I do for you,
and you give little back,
a look, a word (in your fashion)
should I step out of line.

And still
and still,
I (like the ancient Egyptians),
obey you,
my feline masters.

There's beauty in this life
I cannot resist,
from the opening of flowers
to fine morning mist.

There's horror in this life
I dare not describe.
War time atrocities
through children's eyes.

There's a lot in this life
I'll never understand.
I accept the truth of this
like a stone in my hand.

Waves wash over me,
again and again.
Waves wash over me;
my stone becomes sand.

drunk on thoughts and
you take a few turns,
whispering names
until you reached her
your home
I always wanted to be your destination but I knew you want her even in your midnights

.............I found
    some           words
that                              I
can                         use
       to                 bind
            you with
words can do what rope, or duct tape, or super glue cannot.
