I look in the mirror
and see a wonderful girl
with big brown eyes and short brown hair
I smile, what a contagious smile
I can't help but smile even broader
I muster my body
I think of all the perfect thin models
and embrace myself out of joy for not looking like them
I love all my weird habits
as well as my beautiful
character traits
and I love the fact that I'm
completely unperfect.
I appreciate everything
my life offers for me,
I am grateful for every instant
I am able to enjoy my surroundings.
I have to admit
I have fallen
deeply in love
with myself.

Dear mother father
Please don't fall down
Don't fumble the ball
Don't break your crown

Dear mother father
Please stand up tall
What will I become
If stability stalls

Why are you crying
And holding your head
Please mother father
Get out of bed
Stay in your lane
Pass that **** joint
Dear mother father
What was the point?

WAR
The reason for this fighting
is that we do not like
The attitude that's ensued
by the other side
Too big for their britches
them and all their like
That's why we're here to make it clear
and cut them down to size

A necessary evil
this fighting of the wars
All of this upheaval
but who is keeping score
In the mean time either stand in line or step aside
as we find the cure
We'll start a fad with the MOAB
in our latest killing du jour

We've taking it out upon ourselves
to be the world police
From upper North to lower South
we're bombing for relief
Making a promise to ourselves
a promise we will keep
Not resting until the entire world
has our brand of Democracy

If we have to **** to do it
then so let it be
That's just the cost of freedom
cause freedom don't come cheap
Wherever did you get the idea
that freedom would be free
So pack up your soul and conscience
those sissies you won't need

Be a good citizen
and do as you are told
There's some things that the government
would rather you not know
Just know that the bad guys
are on the other side
And all the killing that we do
is only saving lives

And since we're the men in white
You know we'd never lie
The best decision is to withdraw yourself from wrong doing............,
It is nothing, but a valley of poet's solitude....
Poet carves on his skin and lets it shine to emotions..

The poetic mind
Can only be studied
In an observational
Capacity

Any attempt
Of measurement
Would surely
Effect the out come
Resulting in a chaotic
Reaction

It appears
Sub poetic particles
Prefer to remain
Unobserved
In their natural order
...

Darling, have we reached perfection?
The pinnacle, the peak
Our hearts and minds fully aligned
No need to utter a word to be heard

Darling, can I call you mine?
Your name, eternally on my lips
Satisfied each day with your presence
I'll guard your heart from pain

Darling, can I be your lover?
It began with a touch of your hand
Now I'm aroused by the rest of you
Continuing to quench desires thirst

Darling, how can I resist your beauty?
Your eyes, they smile at me, I'm crushed
Lips of silk, work their magic
Hypnotic curves, lead me astray

Darling, can you stay?
With me till my last breath
Our story, it's not yet finished ...

... Darling, can you stay?
seduced ...
We marched because
They told us we couldn’t march.
We loved because
They told us we couldn’t love.
We married because
They told us we couldn’t marry.
We ran for office because
They told us we couldn’t run.

Freedom is for everyone
Not just for the few.
If any group is left out
The word is not true.

We applied for jobs
When they said we could not
We applied for loans
But they tore up the applications.
We manned picket lines
When they said they’d **** us.
We put in for promotions
When they told us we wouldn't win.

Freedom being for everyone
Should not be a dream.
We should not have to explain
Why things aren’t as they seem.

We heard the words
That said Land of the free,
We heard the carols
Peace on earth to all men.
We read the Constitution
That we all of us were equal.
We remembered our schoolwork
That, segregated, taught these words.

Freedom is for everyone
Not just for the few.
If any group is left out
The word is not true.
