Life somehow finds its way
cracks in the concrete
a rose
Neon in the desert night miles away.
Ancient lakes
beneath thousands of years of ice
blind beings buried in the sands
on the winds
in your eyelids
Life somehow finds its way.

On city streets
tented encampments
brutal abuse
where all should be dead
Life somehow finds a way.

The wounded
tormented by years of sorrow
even when all others succumb.
Somehow life finds its way.

Having babies in the fields
Plague in the gardens
Epidemic on the concrete
Wars in the jungle
Somehow life finds a way.

It has been said
over specialization leads to extinction
species come and go
will it now always be so?

Has the last bell rung?
has the last song been sung?
Is this the end of us?
I guess mankind will decide
whether we are here or not up for the ride.

Or
on planets around distance suns
perhaps
life has somehow found its way.

No it's true
I'm not like the other girls.
We both know this isn't fate
But don't hate me
For pretending.

Let's take a walk
Or more of a run
An adventure without destination.
Follow me dear
You've got everything to fear
But accompany me
My beloved
To the fountain of youth

My allusions of grandure
They only reverse reality.
Like the smell after rain
Oh I can't get enough.
Enough of this spectacular illusion before me.

They say dreaming is a waist of time
But honestly
That couldn't be further from the truth.
How else I ask
Are we to escape this place
Only to face nothing but beauty

Now the time has come
To show me a world of splendor
Never again will I be numb.
Three
Two
One
Oh lover of mine it's done.

When I think of you I think of spontaneous poems

Because when I think of you
I think of how god ****** artsy you are
and how quiet
and how gentle
and how intelligent
and articulate you are
and how you love coffee
and books
and how
you get my undivided attention
with those eyes

And I can't help but write poems
about that kinda ****
It's true.
Excuse the swearing

Forget the birds
Forget about doves
Forget about the things
That make you feel
any kind of love

Love poems are great in number
Rather than contributing, though,
I'll take a nice
long
slumber

I want to write about
more worldly things
Stuff that boggles the mind,
Perplexity it brings
Something that makes
you think I'm the best
poet of my time
Day and night,
I'll keep writing these lines
But
**** it,
I'm done this time
Just kind of came out. Tired of writing the typical love poems that everyone writes.

I think it's better that I write when I'm happy
Than to write when I'm sad
When I try to write something I just end up mad
Cause nothing comes out, nothing sounds good
I can't compose like I think I should
My mind wanders, but is more often blank
I consider, reconsider, and then over think
Well, it looks like I can write something after all
But most people, including myself
Conclude it's not any good at all
In class write. 2 o'clock gloomy day.

So still, the air this night does sing,
beyond a truthful stare
A symphony on silent wing,
sweet lyrics on the air

Of every word my heart does find
in rhythmic tapestries
These choruses shall make you mine,
so soft upon the breeze

O’ wind come take this tender heart
and to the sky now lift
In solitude now weave the dark
in dreams of endless kiss

Imagine there are only two,
affectionate thy voice
In melodies of passion new
O’ starry night rejoice

I call upon this springtime moon,
bright sentry high above
Please sing aloud a wondrous tune
within the key of love

So that her ears may come to know
how sweet this world can be
When hand in hand through life we go
in perfect harmony
Right through my lens
I see you clear
So far away
But still so near
Im zooming in
your getting close
I want to keep you
In this pose
I focus and
I take the shot
your walking by
cause you do not
have any clue
of what your in
ive captured you
under your skin
