So, Mr Nimoy,
Your time has finally come,
Your long and prosperous life is done,
And now your being typecast in a better place.
Nomore will you voyage through space,
Or sing those silly songs on youtube.
It was always your tube, Nimoy,
When you paced the bridge of the Enterprise.
Now you've been beamed up for good,
And your first officer's log is closed.
Obituary poem for Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015).

Among the stars his memories travel.
Just trekking.
Just trekking into space.

Whether illogical or logical.
To him, it must make sense.
For his mission was never impossible.

And actor closely connected to Mr. Spock than many portraying the part.
He beamed truth to the millions fans of Star Trek with his wisdom and vision.

Whether upon the deck of the Enterprise next to his Captain.
He stood faithful and loyal to his crew.

Now you're apart of history of various scientific studies.
You're so deserving of being assigned to heaven.

Black holes and nebulae
Planets and stars
Phasers on stun
So no one was harmed

Black and white
Then colour and films
You were a kids hero
The stuff of dreams

Enterprise went to the stars and beyond
Tackled apartheid and other taboos
Never faltered and because of you

So Mr Spock we say Farwell
You were a hero to many a child
Go now on your journey
One to beam up
You lived long and we prospered
From knowing you

Thank you Mr. Nimoy
For your great acting
May you rest in peace.

the body said ‘no more!’
then the parts slowly listened
first one, and then another
margin crossed, deathdate christened
last breaths, final beating
and then the cascade complete
peace is his at the close
flesh led gently to defeat

My childhood obsession
Posters littered my walls
I even had your eyebrows
Marked upon my face
What a man for an amazing
Character
RIP Leonard Nimoy aka the original Spok. Live Long and Prosper
Today a part of me died .
Today I said goodbye
My core dreams took a blow
Goodbye my friend
Leonard Nimoy

Live long and prosper

To the Stars,
And Leonard Nimoy!
Dreamers and lost souls
A toast I hold to you!
To the Great Wishes
Meant to go far and live long
Flying swiftly through the clouds
I raise my glass high!
To the Wide-eyed Readers
And books of old
Lending knowledge of new and long-known
To the Princes and Princesses
So brave and strong, adults before their time
Jumping off castles and fighting dragons
Let us honor their great dreams!
To the Stars,
And Leonard Nimoy!
Shine to the tales of fairy,
I raise my hand in a Vulcan salute!
This was inspired by Leonard Nimoy, whom I love, and how he made me dream of bigger things when I was younger.
