Echoes

Breeze-Mist
Sometimes the silence
Rings as far in the air as
The echoes of shouts

                           But other days, it's
The raucous cries of the crowd
            That make the earth quake

         Pause or performance
   The parts worth remembering
              Echo in my mind

Penelope Winter
As fawns become stags
And leaves, fallen gold,
As lakes freeze to rinks
So our hearts turn to stone

For our love has left us
With geese in the sky
But we'll remember September
'Til the day we die.

- p. winter
a bittersweet month, perfectly resembling the fade from summer to winter

It goes on and on
and on and it never stops
Now I wear earmuffs
I thought of Time and this is what I came up with lol  I do look rather silly wearing earmuffs all the time especially in spring/summer :-)

i can't
like you
you're bad
for me
but that's
only what
i've heard
never what
i've felt
my heart
is whispering
to trust
the beating
but my
mind is
screaming that
looks can
be deceiving
and i
don't know
do i
let myself
fall or
do i
get on
my knees
and crawl
because it
is safer
i've felt
this way
for way
too long
to just
let it
all go
but i
am so
confused and
i want
to know
whether you
are good
for me
or not
do i
let myself
fall or
do i
get on
my knees
and crawl.
