it was a hot burning day,
now is  raining,  and the thunder is turning the sky upside down,
while the lighting, like a God, to be seen,  and wanted, came at my window,
touched my heart,

is not easy
to find from which spot  of the sky we are falling,
from which cloud

It’s not so simple.
The narrative doesn’t change.
The Readers do.
The dreamers and the believers.
Those committed to knowledge.
What they derive from the legacy of History changes or rearranges ideas.
Our symbols and stories as well as the words matter more than we ever imagined.
Take nothing and nobody for granted.
Some believe that what is iconic will endure and matter.
When we teach ,we must elaborate about the subject matter.
Not dismiss it.
That has been done for the sake of time and politics.
Even curriculum.
It is not so simple.
It simply is.

Sleep, no sleep
No making plans
New bed linens eat my dreamland
And settle in the wilderness of my ever-opened eyes

I see you
I see me
I see everything
I'm a play with no final curtain
The story continues unabated
And the ridiculing light of day
Is as sacrosanct as an unused blanket
Nonetheless, I'm checking in
Sleep, O sleep, swallow me
