Nocturnal , cool June ravishing in the flickers of gas lamplights
Quiet country lanes with familiar friends , Southern engines
tumble over the tracks bound for New Orleans
Barn Owls sing to Apricot horizons , the audible strain of methodic hardwood Rockers
Cicadas , Field Crickets and Katydids stir romantic hearts
Piedmont , Fall line hamlets lie at rest till morning*  ....

Within the eyes of the beholder
Another curtain closes
Behind closed doors
Apathy is closest
To the heart
I am but blind
And yet still able to lead
If we followed you
We all would eventually bleed
Can't you see there's pain
Behind those knives
Stuck in your back?
You are stuck behind
A pathetic dream
And a guilty pleasure
How could you put them first?
I should pity the sight
But I'm too embarrassed to look
And too embarrassed to plea
Trash or treasure
You must rid yourself from it
It is cracked from the head
And yet it is you who fell
It's been dead for years
And yet you refuse to bury it
I'm through dragging this corpse
I can no longer bear the stench
May I be equally absent
As I am equally blind to you
Tell me gently, beautiful Siren from the rocks
Whisper me memories
Who seeks my life end short
inform me bluntly, Beautiful siren from the sea
the soldiers marching to my gate.
Should I set the pitch to pour?

The demons march
I seek guidance in your song
Is there something I missed?
We’re sick
our morale is feeding the ant hills

Consult me Nicely, Beautiful siren from the rocks
tell me just how many friends,
I’ll lose to this war.

We found the sugar, found the wine.
lost the honey, lost time.
We’re out of rations,
low on passion.
men coddling tiny strands of hope.

Save me Now, beautiful Siren from the Grave.
My boats still floating
I could sail away.
back to my castle,
where my people lay.

I came here for vacation.
but I found your voice, decided to stay.

The people of my land pray,
that I go deaf and return to them.
but I decided to hear your voice
while my kingdom Rots and fades
While my people die and pray
I needed this getaway

my people, dying by my blade.
can’t stand them lookin’ up to me.
Their tears falling at my feet.
Them saying. “Please king, save me.”
praying “Don’t let them **** me.”
screaming. “They took my family!”
I wasn’t born to be a king.
I wasn’t born to be a king.
The siren sang her song to me.

gritting our cigarette teeth
pretending like we don’t know
that we’re just killing ourselves
hanging languidly from my
bruised lower lip
and tracing shadows on my tongue -
when we were younger you told me
that you wanted to be johnny cash
and that i could have been your june
but, i replied, i’ve never much
liked the summer.

I have read so many wonderful poems,
haiku's, 10 words, so many more, and none are alike!
But we tend to forget about spoken word poems,
Hello Poetry, can you make it possible to share our spoken words as well as our massive pile on's of endless poetry. Spoken Words would add to the sight, and only make it better.
I wish I could also Use Hellopoetry on my mobile phone, in an app,
I'm not sure about anyone else, but that would maybe add to HP

Please consider what I've had to say, c:
Please send repost like and share and comment anything else you think the sight needs since it's growing in great ways. Please share and like if you agree c:
