Oh how foolish of you to deem
That i needed you
When all you can do is cage a bird
And grow flowers that you never watered.
Oh how foolish of me to deem
That i needed you
When all i want is to skip puddles then sail oceans
And fly beyond the heavens above.
Oh how foolish of us to not know
That you and me is an oxymoron
So as strong as the lion's roar,
And as soothing as the zephyr's breath
I let you go and left.
