ask me why
or what or how
do I feel

because honestly
i crave for your
empathy

just a little bit of
understanding
would have been nice
I've been lost for a while now..

momentary happiness
was all i needed
to feel
alive again

Bright within the sunrise sherbet
where apricot nectar reveals the sky,
the sweet harvest of morning
drips from your dawning smile
as I kiss the taste from
cinnamon cream lips
enjoying the flavor of us
and then
one day
my sky
really did fall
and life carried on
without
me
but eventually
i was helped up
slowly
dusted myself off
and i even learned
to smile
again
Life hangs by the thinnest of threads and relationships by the most brittle tendrils of trust. The most I can ask of myself is resilience
.....dark and bitter.......it delights me
.........to watch...as rich cream
......invades the dark brown stream
......while rises....a shy, white steam

they fight in beautiful swirls,
the dark, against lighter twirls
teaspoon dips...as tiny drops hurl
....teaspoon moves clockwise,
......others do it counter clockwise...
....the swirls persevere, they stick it  out,
eventually, they merge, and.......even out...

...lovely autumn colors they create
...a sweet, calming scent permeates
...my nostrils....my mind...my soul,
...i close my eyes, when i want to stall
.... its smell wakes me...keeps me from a fall...

i'm always captured by their bubbly tawny color
so, i drink both black and creamed....yes...i'm a lover
still, i prefer my coffee.........dark and bitter....

Good morning, Hello Poetry!
I have this key
That I wear around my neck

It means the world to me
Because he gave it to me

Telling me with love
That it was the key to his heart

Attached to the key
Is a small shaped heart

It brings back memories
Memories of love

He passed away so long ago
But still I hold the key to his heart

I smile, I cry, I remember
And lovingly hold the chain

That’s attached to the key
That opens his heart
