You
Trying not to remind myself
But my heart is on your magnet
I cannot navigate my thoughts
I'm lost inside you
I cannot see why, I can't find myself without you
I am growing old in this feeling, but I never grow up
I need to let go, but I'm so glued to you
How do I love, if I have forgotten what it feels like
I have burned down all my bridges
now I'm stuck on you
This is a distraction but I'm so loving you
Didn't know what I was missing
Until I finally met you
To my potential new lover

“I love you” I said, cheerfully.
“I want to die” you said.

"I love you" I said, cheerfully.
"You're the only thing keeping me alive" you said.

"Overdose" the medics said, sadly.
"I love you too" you said, quietly.

"I love you" my ghost said.
You lived, cheerfully.
all my loved ones emotionally depend on me. im tired
Older ******

Love life can smoulder still
When you get older, till
The gasp and sigh die out,
Expiring total.

Where tenderness lives
Carnal knowledge survives.
Where love and affection survive,
A good love life will thrive.

The union of two
That is moving and true
Has a life of its own,
Not on loan but a power of staying,
Of carrying on.
Tenderness leaves out the hinder of ending.

While there are pauses and fadings away,
Touchings and strokings are blessings
That not only grow and develop, but stay
Till the ecstasy in its finality must die away.

You don't become wiser with age

You become wiser with the more people you engage

A lunatic's a lover
And Luna is the moon
Silent music in the nightsky
Like a glowing cosmic tune

Yellow for our yearning
Sometimes silver like a spoon
I've even seen her strawberry
But just this once in June

She calls to me in silence:
Please come to see me soon.
I am her lonesome lover -
She is my secret swoon.
...
A thought, a word
A hope that stays
Throughout our lives
And powers our days
A smile, a nod
That makes us feel
Better than what
We thought was real
What turns our souls
To the devil's chagrin
May be the simple
Prayers within
So I will proceed
To pen and be
Prayerful
In my poetry.

My God
knows Love is all I seek-
Not a life of ***, hedonism,
lust, gambling, and parties-
I do want kids,
to be a wife,
To give back in some way-
To be an aid in someone’s life
and live by what He says-
So what if I’m the wife of a woman?
If our kid’s DNA’s half ours?
I don’t think He discriminates-
Pursue what’s good;
That’s what He asks.
The Church associates homosexuality with promiscuity, selfishness, plus lack of virtue and therefore fulfillment... I refuse to do one or the other. I will love women and love God.

joanna
picking up feelings like grapes on a vine,
emotionally breaking down,
bottling it up,
and keeping it like wine.

bottled up emotions turn sour,
the longer it is kept,
the more acidic it gets,
perfect for drinking it at golden hour.

laying on the bed,
staring at the ceiling,
drunk on this feeling,
thinking when will this end.

waking up feeling worst than ever,
picking myself up,
looking at the mirror,
saying everything is fine to feel sober.

Pretending it didn't hurt
didn't sting

Did you know I would have done
anything?

I would rather feel alright
than be yours

I don't want to hurt myself
anymore
