what was it
that ashamed us so badly?
we tried to build God
just to make heaven heavier

shifting shapes and shifting faces
born with so many unbound disgraces
and nobody dares to care,
infamous sons of St. Who's cathedral

you lack soul
you think you're a king
you're the greatest shame
you lack vision
you lack you
you're all doomed
I don't want to be like you
I hate you
you lack soul

I promise to stop loving you tomorrow
but for tonight let me put my head
on your shoulder

I promise to forget you tomorrow
but for tonight we can get high on
the velvet porch

I promise to stop loving you tomorrow
but tonight let’s pretend
it isn’t tomorrow
Boys & books & long
lines of bone-dry rosebush &
all of it burning.

She wove a ring of Magic
and wore it like a crown.
Dancing in the Moon light
when no one was a round.

She wove a ring of Magic,
a spell that no one knew.
She casts it over Mortals,
the ones she wants to woo.

My life isn't empty.

It's full of echoes reverberating in the walls of my skull,
Burnt images in the soul I can't find a remedy for.
They claw me back away from the world into reflection,
To discuss the cause of my deflection.
Pride and shame is welling within,
And I don't know which feeling should win.
It's funny how life changing an event is to one,
and an insignificant speck in anothers.

I want to love you and feel your skin again

Stop and look around
Hold the bullet in your hand
Mull over the emotion
That fills you as you stand
Blood rushes up, down, pumps
And now you're all set
Body like a tree trunk
Feel the weird funk

Coming on and taking over
No survivors, no leftovers
Look left and then turn right
Sit down and take flight

Like the green leaves
Off the mighty oak
Falling up instead of down
Float up and let your body soak
In the light of the bright sightly
Glorious Sun from above
Taking blood lightly
Spilled and vacuumed up
