Intertwined within us are our souls desires
We've become thoughtless consumers
Our eyes have overtaken our hearts
Countless evocation and solicitation cravings
What's the true essence of life

We must credit ourselves with a virtue of constraint
Consciously aware of the folly of greed
Competing for the consent of the masses
Continually corrupts our untainted soul
For without a soul what's the essence of life

Desire for credit has circumnavigated our default setting
Considerably actively commandeering our human condition
We've become complicit in this annihilation of what we hold dear
Our individuality disputed and tarnished
Lives crushed beyond recognition
The wide-ranging impact calamitous
What's the true essence of life

Thine benefits are transient
Yet the impact will leave an indelible mark
Preceding generations trod carefully
Afraid not to let the mud stick
We've been tainted by horrors
Yet we chose to flirt precariously with its allure
It's experience is of a blissful kind
It is however prudent to navigate cautiosly
Credit bingeing has been on the rise despite the sure signs of a struggling market. Cheap and readily available credit may have short-lived benefits but may leave scars and nightmares for future generations.
How do we prevent this? Who is to blame?

My world is a history of pain
Verbal razors slashing soft skin
Anguish built in like ruptured blood vessels
The value of my heart credit scored zero
Equal to the weight of
That vaporous vehicle I call my soul

My world is a history of
Faded welts and bruises
Anger expressed on my flesh
As if my body was her canvass
A blank slate to paint my face
With all of her pain and rage
As if I was her property
To violate with the day’s
Disappointments and frustrations

My world is the heart of hopeful failures
Tentative steps toward lighter skies
Striving to find brighter eyes
Eager fellows improving stranger’s lives
But the human soil is salted
And kindness seldom rises from this
Broken farm of human despair

My world is a cross between
The crosses I bare to have a dream
And all of those stifled screams
Caught by my pillow case
A heart half way gone to outer space
And planted stiffly here between
The cut scenes of this human race

My world is half lies and half truth
And I am not certain
Which mindset will win
Still, I struggle to be better
But only the eulogies and memorials
Will ever know for sure

Seamless, endless, we have
wrapped our story into one;
Where do you begin, where
do I end?

Wherever the road will
allow us to go, promise to
hold my scars and wounds.
Promise to hold me tight
to create new paths of our
own. To share one another
as if we're islands, as if we're
cathedrals, as if we're
treasure lands.

Keep worshiping me my love.
Keep this weary heart pumping
keep it healthy and strong.
Fix the cracks found in the
four chambers of mine. Fix
the loose door knobs as well.
Fix me with kisses and hugs.
Fix me with your tender love.
Fix the broken in me and
bent.

We curl together as if in a Mother’s womb.
Twin souls joined and birthed forth into this
world forever entwined, Let us be each other’s
healer, lover, and best friend until our end.
Never more to walk alone blindly through the
long and lonely nights; only sunshine to warm our
way, hand-in-hand, evermore to stay* ~

He made me glow like
the moon. He made me
bloom like the flowers
of spring. But most of
all he made the
butterflies
cocooned in
me break
