I felt myself growing up from her

in my heart I knew you were the one.
But I fought the feeling.
Now you are the feeling.

when I looked into the sky,
I saw your face in the stars.
And, now you are the stars.

She was everything -
But everything doesn't last forever,
and neither did she -

Happiness was
the clothes she wore,
but sadness

was the words she spoke
between lines of tears
that shattered everything
