Cacophonous waves washing over me
White teeth exposed
The folded skin framing your blue eyes
Your laughter is for me
And for that I am honoured
But I'm finally old enough to know
That it isn't a code

You say the most flirtatious things to me
As if you don't know
That each one feels like a stab in the chest
And that the closer you move your chair to me
The farther away I want to be
To keep you away from my vulnerability

Never tell me you care
For I may just disappear completely.

Hey you, I know you’re trying to get away.
But please sit your *** down and just hear me say,
Have you been that kid that has no friends?
Just waking up waiting for the day to end?
Walking through the halls, head hanging low,
Going at a pace you consider too slow.

Stop for a second, and ask how he's been,
Now you can see the beginning of a grin.
You may not understand what you’ve just done.
But consider it a small war that you’ve just won,
He was tearing apart, but you might not see it.
“He wants to solve his own problems” you said “So be it.”
But maybe you can see that it’s not the case.
All he really wants, is to see a new face,
Someone who can outstretch a helping hand.

Now here’s the toughest question on today’s pop quiz:
Do you lend him your own or break one of his?
Old stuff

01.00am--
she is sleeping peacefully,
dreaming of him in an alluring dream
that she knows will never come true.

02.00am--
she is now fully awake,
sweating in her wet clothes and
sweat dripping from her forehead
due to the nightmare she just had.

03.00am--
why can't she fall back asleep?
the horrifying dream is still a clear
image in her twisted mind.
she needs him.

04.00am--
all the numbers are written,
the only thing she needs to do is press
the green button on her phone
and call him.

05.00am--
he was *******, to say at least.
nobody wanted to be awaken by a stranger
in four in the morning.
it was a mistake.

06.00am--
she still hasn't fallen asleep.
she stayed up all night.
she couldn't bare to have the nightmare again.
and now she has to face reality.
she hates it.

07.00am--
her makeup is applied.
and her clothes are clean and perfect,
as they always are and should be.
how is she going to face him after
she called him in four in the morning?

08.00am--
she couldn't find him anywhere.
she knew where his locker was,
but still he wasn't there.
she was now worried that
perhaps she was the reason for his absence.

09.00am--
she couldn't hold it in.
her tears fell and fell on the hard ground beneath her.
she couldn't believe it.
he was gone.
and it was all her fault.

10.00am--
she ditched school.
she didn't care about that anymore.
all she wanted to do is be with him.
and that was what was she going to do.

11.00am--
she watched as the blood slowly started
dripping from her newly cut wrist.
she held the tears and the pain in.
she didn't let out a sound.
soon her lifeless body will be found on
her bathroom floor.
but at least, she would be with him.
and that was all that mattered to her.

A shot of black powder
From a brass mug
Down at the Cocked and Loaded
Laid out on the floor
After one shot
After eating the slug

Hear the voice under the door.
Somebody saw a little sense.
We need this crap no more.
May the curtain not be iron, just a wooden fence.
Pray the barriers are broken down.
Politics with barren face.
Wipe away life's frown.
Mongers of war, a flaming disgrace.
Let the world be blessed with the joy of peace,
Men of power let us no more fret,
Life from threat of war release.
Think before thy doth regret.
The world is a beautiful, but troubled place,
Save us all, the human race.
