I Fall

I question
not because I need the answer
just to hear the sound of your voice
see your lips move and your eyes shine
as you speak a reply

I fall
not because I can’t keep my balance
just to feel the warmth of your skin
the slender curve of your fingers
as your hand catches mine

She gets her alcohol
and gulps it in,
as if
that's how
you teach
a wound
to heal.

thoughts hang around my head like an itch that won't go away
and they're *making me scratch my brains out
i hate winter.

Sirenes
When I was a little girl
There were flowers in the sky
And stars in the grass
Everything was different
Life has become clearer
Everything has it's rightfull place
Yet somehow I tend to think
That the stars are meant to
Grow on green soft fields
And somehow flowers
Actually belong to heaven
Somehow the thought of you
Makes me believe again
That I will wake up one day
And find everything as it's intended
The flowers in the sky
And the stars in the grass
Somehow I find you in too many corners of my mind
You have no business snooping around in here
Yet here you are anyway.

Life's such a mind-****. Why do some people just leave you wanting it all.

I see nothing
but you
&
You see
everything
but me
