Emmanuel,  Emmanuel
Your name in beauty sounds,
The newborn King,
Our anthems ring
From earth to heaven 'round!

O Jesus! The babe so small
The shepherds bow & pray,
Angels sing, their news to bring,
The Savior's born today!

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Your tiny, gentle face
Wise men kneel,
For they can feel
Your Spirit & Your grace...

O Jesus! The babe so small
The shepherds bow & pray
Angels sing, their news to bring
The Savior's born today!

Emmanuel, Emmanuel,
So meek & mild, you lie
On Mary's breast
She's now at rest
With tears within her eyes...

O Jesus! The babe so small
O let us bow & pray
Angels sing, their news to bring
The Savior's born today!

Emmanuel, Emmanuel,
Oh, let us not forget,
You died for us
Upon a cross
And You are with us yet...

O Jesus! Bright Morning Star
You rise up with each day
Let us attest
That we are blessed

Remember YOU TODAY!

I'm having this song produced later today!!
So darling,
In the moments
You turn around
And catch me staring at you
Wide eyed,
Know that I’m drinking you up.
Carefully filing everything you do in my memory
So I can pull it out
On lonely walks in the park and down the street,
So I can think of you
On cold nights laying in bed.
Because it won’t last,
But I want to remember
Every second.

Fearless
I'm thankful for the trash I see
because I have my sight
I'm thankful for all the injustice
it gives me something to fight
I'm thankful for that annoying noise
and for my capable ears
I'm thankful for things that scare me
so I can learn to defeat my fears
I'm thankful for stress with family
it means I have family around
I'm thankful for wandering lost
and so happy now to be found
I'm thankful for being on crutches
I appreciate the gift of walking
I'm thankful for dumb arguments
because at least it means we are talking
I'm thankful for all of my failures
at least I know that I tried
I'm thankful that I was rejected
so I could learn to let go of my pride
I'm thankful when people use me
so that I have a chance to forgive
I'm thankful that Jesus died
so that I could have life to live
I'm thankful for when I was lonely
so I could learn to appreciate friends
I'm thankful that you read this poem
and this is where my story ends

Christmas lights aglow in the night
Hot fire-places blazing all cozy and bright
Romance blossoms like a white rose
Icicles reflecting the light as it snows
Santa is coming tonight; Be sure to close your eyes tight
Tree alight as he sneaks in just out of sight
Memories under the tree as he works his magic
Angels of our loved ones looking down all ecstatic
Seasons to lift the spirits of all; Merry Christmas one and all.

No matter what religion,
Or what race,
Or what name,
Or what face.

Through all the torture,
Through all the hate,
In the end we all,
Meet the same fate.

I am a master at lying
It is an art
I’ve become so good at it
That when I say
I am fine
I almost believe myself
Werewolf

I’ll trek through the woods and find a wolf pack.
I’ve got a simple strategy for a quick attack.
I’ll **** their Alpha and feed them deer;
I’ll become the new Alpha and I’ll rule through fear.

I’ll lead my pack with my bow and arrow.
We’ll eat the moose’s liver and **** the bones’ marrow.
We’ll hunt together by the cold moonlight.
I’ll plot the course of the season by the stars of the night.

We'll eat the flesh of those who dare come near
in the dark frigid dawn of the early New Year.
I’ll hunt down stragglers and set their bodies burning;
it’s survival of the fittest in this wicked world’s turning.

My dogs will howl at the moon by the edge of the cliff;
they’ll be the rhythm section while I play my riff.
Don’t come near us, don’t try to follow:
Steer clear of my pack, or you’ll have no tomorrow.

The Retort

So, you’ve got some silver bullets in your automatic Glock.
I hate to give bad news, and this might be a shock:
But I’ll take your silver bullets—
I’ll wear one as a pendant.
As for the rest of you—
they’ll only find a remnant.

Mating Season

I shed my human form, to meet you in the night.
We tread into our lair, within a limestone secret cave.
No one knows the site, except the watching grey-black owl.
We circle and we nip, with loving tender bite.
I smell your musky scent and hear your throaty growl.

Alpha Alpha pair, there are only two of us.
I’m the queen and you’re my knight
(but with no shining armor bright).
Instead, a coat of grey and white.

And when our rendezvous is done
we’ll greet the others at  the cliff
and all howl in unison.
