I woke up one morning,
Before the crack of dawn,
Where the air was icy cold,
And the living were deadly silent.
Wanting to release this fire in me,
I did the only thing I could achieve.
The path blurred below me,
Blood pumping with adrenaline,
Thumps echoed in my ears,
Beats of sweat roll down my forehead.
And for a moment I felt invincible,
Like I myself was the only limit,
For nothing could stop me.
