You're a canvas, waiting to be done,
You're a poem, waiting to be heard,
You're the light, that's yet to reach the eyes,
You're happiness, that brings others a smile,
Your presence is amazing, even though you're far from reaching
Every time I think of you, I jot that down.

The prickling cold claims the lives of all but one solider.
Now who can stop him who stands against the flames of war, And then again the icy- hot of loneliness?
He has won this war but he still has more to fight.
Little boy,
one day when you wake up and peer outside,
I hope you see flowers screaming in color and children dancing.
Little boy,
someday when you look up the sky
I hope you don't see gray,
but bright, bright, blue.
Little boy,
I hope the loudest noise you will ever hear
is your own laughter.
Little boy,
I hope one day you look at yourself
and don't see ruins,
but buildings standing tall,
guarding the city.
Little boy,
hope.

Straight and proud

Let me iron your mind
Let the creases
On your daily deeds' sleeves
Smooth down and vanish
The iron of my words will
Float upon the collar of your views
And the little pocket
Smothering your heart
Well, I may burn it
Accidentally - I'm not good
At ironing
But let me iron the back
So that you always stand
Straight and proud

Parang papatak na,
Mula sa aking mga mata,
Matang kay lungkot,
May pinipilit ilimot.

Silakbo nitong puso,
Pusong nagdurugo,
Alam ko naman ang dahilan,
Ngunit hindi alam ba't nasasaktan.

Pinukaw ng sakit,
Kalungkuta'y iginiit,
Alam ko naman kung bakit,
Kaya ganito pala ka pait.

Ang katotohanan,
Sa ating pagmamahalan
Ang tanging nagdulot,
Ng poot na sa puso ko'y nanuot.

Paano ko ba papakawalan?
Kapag wala nang maramdaman,
Huli na ba ang lahat?
Ito ba ay nararapat?

Ito ba ang mapapala ko?
May nadadama pa ba ako?
Ang sagot ay isang "Oo",
Patunay ang mga luha kong dumaloy dahil sa'yo

He wants to read my poems,
he wants to see what
I have written about him.
I wonder why I am so scared
for him to see my thoughts
laid bare with no filters.
Maybe because I still have that fear
that he will run away
once he realizes how real this is.
She flows patiently like a river.
Her love was perennial for you.
Then you stuck her like a tsunami.
Your pollutant words turned her grey.
With a brave heart, she turned courses,
Keeping you thirsty of eternal love.
She flows patiently like a river,
Jumps off cliff into a fearless waterfall.
