Take me away from glory
I wish for no rewards
desperate men chase after gold
I stand and watch the horde
Let mountains be my friends
in solitude I reign
let god be disillusioned
through eyes of the insane
In deepest woods I wander
become what I once feared
to grasp my own delusion
to let the mist be cleared
Let me rise to my demise
fall to my disgrace
follow me into the sea
to be one with the waves
This life is but a circle
this circle but a cage
I've tasted blades of terror
and bled to be a sage
Let me dance like madmen
among unholy souls
let the gleaming sun engulf me
I feel it burning cold
dead men talk of nothing
their eyes are full of tales
like me they long for nothing
but a glimpse beyond the veil
where love
is my jealousy,
where the moon
is a song of the dark,
where the moon is
me dreaming of you.

Walk me through the desert
we'll go hand in hand
let the sun burnout the night
set fire to the sand
Take me to the very end
where land will meet the sky
ignite the spark inside me
and make my fire die
keep walking on forever
your footprints will remain
the sand is still and golden
and I am all in vain
And time will take its toll
but don't you leave my hand
for if you choose to do so
I'll be buried in the sand
So walk me through the desert
of this dream that we call life
and when I finally wake up
I hope to see you by my side
will I see you by my side?

She breathes
Constellations straight into my lungs.
She leaves
Stars fizzing gently on my tongue.

Everything in this world
draws me back to you
As the spring brings the showers
Every year it stays true

I can only dream of the day
the rain will fall hard enough
to wash away
every trace of you on me
I can't get you off of my mind and it's eating my insides away.

Spring showers
bring May flowers
bring Summer sun
youth and good fun
bring Fall(ing) in love
make leaves fall from above
bring Winter Winds
bring you to my mind

Seasons all change
come and go again
why won't you
come back again?

.
Striped wings scythe, sailing across
The late summer sky, wraithing kites
Wrangle with nimbus streams streak,
Banded birds knowing of deaths trace,
One can see such sound which circles
Make, def cries low by an insects wake.

If I were to write you
A love poem
(this is only hypothetical),
So, let's pretend,
Like poets do.
Would you fit inside
The confines of a sonnet:
No, you're more free,
More like a breeze.
You're not ballad-like;
Though you could be
With those alluring green eyes.
I'd work on an ode
But you don't like heights.
We're not close enough for couplets, yet.
Free verse sounds like a fine fit.
You may end up being a muse someday
If I get the hang of it.
Most certainly when our elegy's written.
