the woes
the woes
of the poets did
compound
for there were many woes
around

the woes they couldn't
surmount
woes that stayed on the estate's
mount

poets tormented by woes
day and night
and there was no respite
for their plight

the woes were never
ending
the woes not ever
suspending

the woes such as
plagiarists
taking works in pilfering
fists

so too the trolls on
patrol
on them no firm
control

woes
woes
woes
besetting
the
poetry
community
woes
woes
woes
permitted
to
act
with
licensed
impunity
woes
woes
woes
of
them
not
much
immunity
woes
woes

O' you, sweetheart you
your smile brings me up
when I feel down

Whenever you're around
doesn't matter if skies are grey
they appear sunny to me

Small was our pretty little hut,
The tallest posy leaned on the
Casement. We heard at faint mid-
Day, the waves quietly whispering.
In the free air, flourished the
Buds; and on the trestles twined
The Carolina jessamine as the
Countryside vivified each eye
With each passing day, in our
Rose fresh thoughts replayed

-Forever.
His strategy has heart in it
Imbued with a just and compassionate spirit
Putting all at the heart of his endeavour
To ward off the ominous, evil weather
That doth the truest path inhibit

Love conquers all, as Shakespeare said
A truth to bring life to the dead
Who have the spell of evil read
Around them the sublime hippie treads

Weaving souls together with magic threads
Their awakening the evil dreads
But minds will open, hearts will see
Mouths will speak, we will be free
The 5000 fed with a loaf of bread
The warmakers paint the world with a fetid fire
The artists fight back by painting the world with a fine fluent fire
The righteous, truest path inciting passion and desire
Majestic medley of peace sung along to ancient lyre

We take the baton and pass it on
Under the sweet and setting sun
To each other with light we run
Passing on the cosmic joy and fun

This is the song of serendipity
That incites the world to love and amity
That inspires an uncynical charity
And eternal laughter and the cosmic hilarity
neath the maple's boughs
copper leaves were tumbling
in a mounded pile
