What use are words,
When there is none I wish to speak?
How useful are eyes,
When there is no light that enables you to see?
Why need ears,
If there is nothing worth hearing?
What use are arms,
If my embrace catches nothing

What point is there in following the path before me,
When I know nothing awaits me?
What use are wealth and possessions,
When I’m the only one who can touch them?
What value is there to a heart,
But know that it is empty?
How promising can a life be,
When there is no such thing as you and me?

fluttering dreams
the winter flakes
the teasing pearl
the oyster of sky
what a poor bird am i !
soaked in longing
choked in throat of song--
the camphor ball of night
can carry no aura of shore
better to drop the anchor
what a poor bird am i !
soaked in longing
choked in throat of song
perched on the post of sail..
I write of spring in autumn
of summer in winter
I like to be where I'm not
to cheat on time
fantasy
is so much better
night
how it blooms ?
neither you nor i know !

minutes melt
leaves leave
kites disappear
where are they murmuring?
neither you nor i know !

the tipsy alluring breeze
hanged a memory
in the soul of yours and mine.
why it stumbles in our respiration?
neither you nor i know !

love as lust,
experience as emotion,
the soft womb of rain-drop
sculptured as glow in pearl,
what flows in between poles?
neither you nor i know !

night
how it blooms ?
neither you nor i know !

only known is that
frolicking
in the rain of stardust !
rest is illusion !
Today a year is over
Today a year I see
Today I remembered the day
I married a chimpanzee

I’m not sure if it was love at first sight
But somehow we were smitten
Our fate was in the stars
And that’s where it was written

People were always curious
And they wondered how it could be
That I had fallen in love
With my darling Chimpanzee

His undying love for bananas
And hanging by the bars
My chimpanzee was always hyper
And loved to drive fast cars

Sometimes things got difficult
And sometimes we’d disagree
It’s kind of frustrating when you are arguing
And all he says is “oo oo aa aa eee”

When we’re on holiday
He’d pack his suitcase tight
With bananas and oranges
And all sorts of monkey delights

Although his monkey quirks
Sometimes make mad
I knew what I signed up for
And sometimes it also makes me glad

He takes the time to listen
He takes the time to be
A good loving husband
Even though he’s a Chimpanzee

My Chimpanzee husband is awesome
And he’s the best for me
Today we’re eating a banana cake
As we celebrate our anniversary.

The ghostess was his hostess
in that wood apple tree
she flirted and she caressed
he was tickled merrily!

In the moonlight fought a mock fight
her nails she dug on him
he hugged her with all might
her bony frame quite slim!

He was bolder as he told her
where had you been all life
wooed her in whisper
would have made you my wife!

Her eyes then smoked in pain
trembled her voice
there wasn't a you among the men
I had little choice!

Two hollow face loved breathless
kisses floated in thin air
lone night owl stood witness
to the two souls laid bare!
