You and I,
we floated upon
clouds of cotton candy,
felt the warmth
of the butterscotch sun,
and with eyes tightly closed,
we kissed each other
like wishful stars of sugar.

It's a crying shame
our parachutes failed to open...
The beauty of flaws is that they draw you closer to those real enough to love you.
At least my cherry tree
will blossom soon.
On hungry days, I hail
the hunt, squint my
eyes and spin my guns.
Your heart runs by.
I count to one.
That July,
I was a jar
of fireflies;
you held
me in your
hands. I
lit up your eyes.
