The sound of silence
is deafening
the loudest sound
is nothing

the sound of silence
isn't quite
this peaceful sound
more like a riot

Why can't we ******* speak?
This silence seems to go on for weeks.
When noise is what we seek.

Deafening noise we want to hear!
Melodic noises we want loud and clear!
but we sit in silence over here.

"Be anything" they say
how can we when we are forced to decide at the age of 13 and change our mind.

Anger is not an emotion
It comes from the inability
To handle other emotions
