In this world we live in, people live.  Just simply live.
In this world we live in, people die.
People die.

Is it more complicated to live than it is to die?
Or isn't the complication of dying, leaving everyone else behind?

What if you woke up tomorrow, only to find yourself dead?
How complicated would that be?
What about your mother, sitting by your bedside, waiting to hug you again?
What about your best friend, dreaming of the day he could talk to you again?
What about your siblings, that are too young to understand but will have to grow up the rest of their lives without you?
What about you. Is it so complicated to simply live? Or simply die?

In this world we live in, people die.
Simply die.

A cabin
Two small rooms off grid
All I will ever need
No TV or radio
Just a a small dog at my feet
Mollie
A note pad and a bottle of ink
With an old fashioned scratcher pen
,(because so few now know how to write)
But all I need are the sound capped waves
To make me realize what life's about
The usual ramblings of an old man

There's a truth I learned recently
that has come and set me free.
I am always connected to you
through Jesus Christ
who lives in *me.

distance
is not so much
as space,
as it is absence.

You are young, and I am older;
You are hopeful, I am not—
Enjoy life, ere it grow colder—
Pluck the roses ere they rot.

Teach your beau to heed the lay—
That sunshine soon is lost in shade—
That now’s as good as any day—
To take thee, Rosa, ere she fade.

The wish I have known folks, makes you laugh.
Makes you enraged with discuss.

A woman constantly abused in the community.
Many folks know it.
None chose to do anything about it.

But once, she found beaten and abused.
Maybe even dead, that's when we hear,  I wish I have known.
But many do.
And still plays the silent fool.

A child being abused and molested.
Maybe kidnapped or something more.
Maybe being sold to the highest bidder.
Or something to worst to even mention.
Here comes, I wish I have known.

Or claim with pride, it's none of my business.
When it really is.

News, highlight, we becoming an uncaring world.
But that's not why the Lord God has us here?

We required to help the helpless.
Be their protector.
For some just don't have that fight.

We required to be that shining light.
God guides us to disavow wrong by doing right.

We are his angels of righteousness.

Life is like an old car tire,
leaving a piece of it behind
wherever it goes.
When it encounters a speed bump,
it slows.
As it hits a *** hole,
it breaks down.
Conditions may get rough
and the tire may pop,
but it can be inflated.
Be inflated and travel further,
touch more people and leave more behind.
As the journey progresses,
the tread thins
preparing itself to be replaced;
by another tire

Oh the fears inside my eyes
That seem to die
Only when I'm asleep.
Deep asleep
Hardly I am given
So they live
They are living
I'm alive
