First hour
FreeWritingPoems Feb 2015
People dazing off in despair
You can feel tiredness in the air
You just want to go back to bed
So you put down your head
You just want to get some good sleep
Lying there in a disheveled heap.

Then it comes to the test
You don't know what's on it
But you'll do your best

You stayed up late last night
Trying to do all your homework right
Now you're just sitting in first hour
Wishing that you were in the shower.

You want to sleep but you want an A
Your sleepy self will have to conquer the day.
This whole process isn't a blast,
But these last few years of Hugh School are your last.

They only murdered him once
FreeWritingPoems Jan 2015
They only murdered him once
Because he was a dunce
He never paid them back
Now he was under attack

He couldn't even run
One second and it was done
He knew they would do it
Now he had been hit

He was just a dunce
They only murdered him once

Deflate-gate
FreeWritingPoems Jan 2015
They deflated the ball
They had no problem catching it at all
They kept one inflated to kick
Cheating lost them their draft pick.

Why did you have to cheat?
You still wouldn't of faced defeat
Second time cheating since spy-gate
Now, you have deflate-gate

The Man Who Loved the Rain
FreeWritingPoems Jan 2015
The man would play in the rain
The others thought he was insane
But it healed his pain

The man would hide from the sun
They thought his life was done
When others saw him they would run

This made him very sad
It made his life very bad
Only the rain made him glad
FreeWritingPoems Jan 2015
The man had a shredded ear
He could no longer hear
His life was filled with fear
Because a man shredded his ear

The man was full of despair
The remnants of his ear began to flare
The mangled ear was covered by his hair
To his family, the ear was a scare

He went to the doctor to get it checked out
He said amputation was necessary, no doubt
The kids started to whine, but he couldn't hear them pout
They didn't know how bad it was, then they found out

Their lives had changed a ton
For the daughter and the son
The one thing the father would never hear
Is the fact that his son shredded his ear
