leave it to fate
to bring the two
they hadn't known
what to do

strangers at a concert
yet they couldn't collide
but still, fate was there
and all it took was time

x-factor as single contestants
made it hard for fate to work
soon the two met in the bathroom
the tall one had a smirk

an 'accident' occurred but it was no problem
oops and hi was all it took
simple words, really
but infatuated, their hearts shook

band mates of a popular group
they fought through
management made it harder
it wasn't a secret - everyone knew

as lovers, they knew how to love
yet every single day, it had to be hidden
there was nothing they could do
for it had been forbidden

fate couldn't finish her job
it was left to the two
they had to fight and fight
but that was how green met blue
uhm.. in case you didn't get it, this was larry.
Poor little LIGHT!
      Did they burden thee?
Oh, shine! - Shine into the night for me!

Proud little Light!
      Did thou tear a sea?
Tear the pain! - Tear the pain!

Broken little Light!
      Angels will not break thee.
Flicker for me? - Flicker for me?

Joyful little Light!
      Shine thy glory for me,
Unto the hanging tree; where their heart shall be.
Whenever someone breaks up with you, always remember that they're missing out on something better.

Why do men argue?
Why do they fight?
Is it ideology that sets them apart?
Pointing fingers at one another to prove each other wrong?
No.
Perhaps an answer to that question that has boggled the minds of men for so long,
has been right in front of them from the very beginning.
Fear is the biggest perpetrators of war and argument,
racism, hate, destruction.
And it is because of this fear that spouts the worst crimes in history,
the greatest atrocities of mankind.
Take for instance the armor of man,
the metaphoric clothing one puts on to shield himself from criticism,
from those who disagree.
And perhaps from the beginning of time man has sought to silence those who have disagreed with them.
The tyrannical majority who fear new ideas
or simply love their ideas too much.
But strip that armor, that fear, leaving behind just intellectuals.
Casting aside the weapons and tools of war for the briefest of moments
and maybe the wars and arguments will settle where truth will arise.
Perhaps.

It rains.
A truffled scent
glitters
in dead leaves,
naked trees.
Transudation
into the depths
of the night.

A square, squat room (a cellar on promotion),
Drab to the soul, drab to the very daylight;
Plasters astray in unnatural-looking tinware;
Scissors and lint and apothecary's jars.

Here, on a bench a skeleton would writhe from,
Angry and sore, I wait to be admitted:
Wait till my heart is lead upon my stomach,
While at their ease two dressers do their chores.

One has a probe--it feels to me a crowbar.
A small boy sniffs and shudders after bluestone.
A poor old ***** explains his poor old ulcers.
Life is (I think) a blunder and a shame.
