sometimes you view
with your one eye
something
miniscule
in size

it could be a
flitting bat
it could be a
dusty hat

it could be a
fire's light
it could be
the dead of night

you can feel there's
something wrong
but you look
and it is gone

---

sometimes you hear a
faroff sound
you don't try
to look around

it could be a
lonesome train
it could be a
thing in pain

it could be a
funny fuzz
it could be a
static buzz

the windblown pages
of a book
but you don't think
and you don't look

---

something came
and touched your hair
it could be
your last nightmare

it could be
an errant fly
it could be
a fairy sigh

it could be
a sulphur wind
but you don't feel it again

---

sometimes you taste
something that's ill
it lies within
a tounge unstill

it is bitter
it is sick
like gone bad almonds
arsenic

you ***** my face up
then you pout
it's not your fate to
spit it out

---

something is
tickling at your nose
it could be
a sewer flow

it could be acid
in the rain
it could be
something
in your drain

oooo you believe you smell that smell

it's coming from the
pit of hell

To be honest
I don't know if I'll ever meet you
Fate's suppressing everytime
With its twist at the end
It's either the end or the beginning

She chose your name
Preluding to your birth
Waiting for the day
You come to this earth
We never stop talking about you
I'm just hoping you'll be her mirror
So your eyes will mesmerize
Every norm in disguised

I vow if you are mine
I'll be the best that I could ever be
I'll be your canopy
I'll be the light that shines through-
The glass that protects you
When life throws you knives
Know that I'll catch every single one
I'll miss one from time to time
But eventually as you'll grow older
You'll know why

I can't fathom
Seeing you for the first time
That cry will rupture
Every enmity in me
And when you open your eyes
That little spark will light
The void in my heart
I'll let you hold me as you clutched-
Your hands around my pinky

A promise sealed,
To never forget us
That our bond is eternity

Our love for you
Will be endearing
Our love for you
Will never be any less
Through the tussled waves of fate
Bounded by our neverending will
We will always keep you safe

Always remember E
As much as I love your mother
I will always love you the same.
A piece I wrote for him/her.
I really hope I will get to see you soon
and hold you forever.
And I shall write for what may be the future,
Or to the daughter of the night.

*As darkness eats you up,
And ruins the architecture of your bones,
******* your soul out of your heart.

A Tardis I do not own,
To enter your space time continuum,
To save your universe from falling apart.

Inside a dim lit room,
Shows a screen of the CCTV footage,
Of the robbery of innocence.

You are so far out of reach,
Anxious to the sense of touch,
Anxious for you to sleep.

I am outside this dark dark room,
I will not bang on the door,
I will not leave too soon.

Don't worry,
I will read you stories of the light,
And you will see the stars of the night.
For India's daughter, and every other daughter out there.

You could say hello
and my lungs would heave more than
the euphoric sigh.

+

Please don't say goodbye,
for I avoid beginnings
and you're worth the try.
2 different haikus to make 1 poem.

Change is inevitable.
Oh how she could have evaded
the kisses you have planted
on the soil of her skin.

"Water me,"
she asked and waited,
as flowers wilted around her frame,
a garden of grim.

Four falls passed,
an eco-system to adapt,
for she rained and she rayed,
for a garden, fond of the placid.

Oh she was a forest,
but just a garden she saw,
you admired her flowers
and tied it to a string.

The bouquet you made,
of her peonies and petunias,
the bits of her you plucked,
only for your own regard.

The parts of me you have messed with,
grew gloomy but shall never wilt,
for another fall shall pass,
and a garden of placid I shall fulfill.

She walks in the room where
her mom is in. No one listens
cause she flips on the news
with the volume on high. "Hey
mom i met a guy from twitter
he's supposed to meet me first
day of college same age but
different faculty" she'd say.
Comes back from college
enters home. Finds her mom screaming and shouting and
if she could she'd probably kick
her daughter out the door.
Slams lunch on the kitchen
table "don't talk to me with
attitude cause i'm sick and tired
of you and your talks are such
a bore and make sure you don't
drop any food on the floor".
That's when she decided to not
to try with her mom no more.
Took her secrets and tucked
them under her skin. She hid
her twitter love in the chambers
of her heart. Walked in and out
of home without a single word
to say. She found love far from
home. That's what she's holding
on. She got her flowers on
mother's day all she heard from
her mom was why'd you waste
our money instead of thank you
for remembering me on such a
day. No more trying this place
isn't home. Home is in his two
arms and wolf like looking eyes. Waiting a few more years till
she'll be long gone moving into
a new place carrying her memories along. A place with no screaming
or cursing no hitting or abuse.
No fear or chocking on a noose.
Just a home with him and her.
Just a home with no storms. A
home waiting for a caring husband and a loving wife to carve their
stories on the walls and bring
them to life. And like
he'd always say the best is
yet to come one day. Hold on
your faith and pray i'll be by your
side always and stay* ~
