everyone always says there's that one day
the one day where everything goes perfect
they say one day everything will get better
they say it will be okay
trying to find that one day
that they all say will come
it never does. does it?
everyone
just telling themselves it will be okay
the one day will come
and we wait
and wait
and wait
for the one day
this so called
one
day

How many times I have to cry
this ocean of tears from my eyes?
How many times I have to smile
just to hide these heartbreaking lies?

Oh, beautiful tears from my eyes
come on, roll down in quietude
Beautiful drops like crystal clear
keep my weeping in solitude

Will there be beauty in yelling
letting them know that I'm broken?
I  want to keep my misery
a thousand words be unspoken

Beautiful tears, come hide with me
just stay behind my loudest laugh
Just let them know my victory
A perfect beam in your behalf.

Don't let your failure make any discouragement. Plant the seeds of hope.
I want to write but at
this point in time my
head is empty.
ironically, heavy as well,
I stop writing, to hold it
back up.
I also write at letflowersbloom.wordpress.com
People look away when you question their honesty , the fool with a hole in the newspaper staring at you constantly ! The lifeguard at the swimming pool , wearing thick sunglasses , the King on his throne , staring at our ***** ! Tinted car windows going down the block , mischievous teenagers high on *** ! The pizza man standing at the front door smiling , he's tapping my phone at night , can hear him breathing ! The six o'clock news on all three stations , a giant eyeball recording everything ! The jets that fly high above are also guilty , their contrails are poison spewed across our fair city ! Cable television racking our brains , twenty four hours of subliminal messages ! Our own train of thought , a victim of theft , sent to the Pentagon , stored on a shelf !

We all have become so exceptionally good at faking our happiness…We no longer know when we are actually happy or when the smile is only for the world to see and not to be felt.
