I sit alone,
Watching waves collide with cobblestone,
Thinking of you,
And all that that you do.
A cure to loneliness,
Such sweetness,
That I don't deserve,
But you continue with verve.
My head is like the night,
But you make it bright,
You mean a lot to me,
You're my hotshot.
For a close friend J.

Grey mirror
You vanished in a blink of an eye
I was obliged to say goodbye.
I am an Heir to the throne
In this heart I called home.
Therefore no more compromise
Only sacrifice.
I do hope you chase your dream
As lovely as it seems.
I bid you farewell
as you journey through Tomorrowland.
I might be one of your fan,
No not a constant one,
Just one who waves from afar
and says
*"Do you remember me
I'm a piece of your forgotten memory"
Just remembering his dreams of being apart of the festival called Tomorrowland and hoping he still remembers me

You
I am so lucky to have met you
Before you I was in a constant state of feeling blue
I love it when you call me by my name
It makes me show off and spit my game
Having you interested in me has made all the difference
I won't ever have to talk about my love life in past tense
I get to feel good about myself knowing you love me
And I'll always let you know that I love you too wholeheartedly
Expressing my love for you is something I'll always do
Because I want you to know just how much I have fallen in love with you.
And this one is about her now that she's agreed to be my girlfriend.

Your hands spell trouble--paradoxically,
in red bruises that swell and blue
veins that reach outward
past the skin,
searching for something fragile but intangible--like the song
of a rare bird or the color that a peach turns
one moment before ripeness--to cup in your hands
and then preserve
in the wooden box bolted down
underneath your bed--if only
you could figure out how to open it.

The box locks and unlocks
spontaneously
and you were never given a key.

Sometimes you hang from your bed
upside-down
and try to tease the box open with your eyes,
praying to the absent stars that your brain will fall
through to the top of your skull
and click open the lock with its flipped-over thoughts.

You wink at the lock and it winks back,
but does not reveal its contents
and only flirts with the idea of openness.

After a while you swing yourself upright and lie with open hands
until your palms’ little collection of colors and sounds floats toward the ceiling
in an exhale so quiet, it borders on silence.

And you close your eyes,
allowing the darkness to empty your mind
of its divine fullness.

I want To Turn Feelings Into Words.

I enjoy the struggle
To make a sentence beautiful.
Use the right adjective,
Or the precise adverb
Which is suitable.

I strive to turn emotion
Into something
We can read.
Something other people
Will believe,
Open up and
Let themselves bleed .
For,

There is nothing more sad
Than an unhappy person
Deprived of honesty and worse.
Believe in nothing,
Except the lies
They nurture
In the safety
Of their own
Universe.

This was the advice my Grandmother would often say
The thought still stays
When my Grandmother would say that statement being the title, I had to search deep and try and understand
But the deeper I thought the more complex the understanding became
Now I don’t want to sound lame
Yet careful analysis certainly being the aim
In order to overcame a struggling barrier sometimes it requires to give in and just move on
It means stepping out on Faith and being guided beyond losing, but throughout there will be a gain in win
Questions arise in determination of when?
It all depends on that situation at that moment or second
But it is understanding that one will have to reckon
“Sometimes you have to lose in order to win” statement seems to surround a defeat and win being the overcome
Defeat seems to be a focus, but at the end a gain of satisfaction
Sometimes a struggle can be overbearing and a person just can’t take it anymore, and have no other alternatives but to either move on or stay in
To win is do what’s best for the individual to maintain your self-control
Again, it’s step out on Faith and watch the turnaround in behold
There is a belief referring to believe in being confident
Once the believe has taken place
Lose to win becomes established being the trace
So my Grandmother had the right idea, it was wisdom sustaining in assuring the understanding
Since I have gotten more aware the title statement is my beyond compare
It is helpful and I wanted to share
Remember, it is assurance one will overcome, but there is sacrifice at the beginning, but sacrifice is the opportunity in learning to winning.
