if you are lost and alone,
don't  give up hope.

there is a place called home
waiting  for your return.

I know from experience,
because I once was a lost soul.

love is listening
to you snore

love is patiently waiting
for you to calm down

love is being able to just be
and present to each other

love is opening ourselves
to this very moment

love simply is

breath caught in throat
heart leaping out
this is love

the more my ego dies
each moment becomes
more beautiful

Wonderful verses
of love never ending
Tender affections

Melting your heart
with the words I have written
Making you smile
with each line you read

Rhyming emotions
of springtime and flowers
Sending the message
you’re all that I need

Phrases of beauty
so filled with devotion
Promised forever
in poetic ways

Something so special
you’ll never forget me

playground of feathers
upon heavens blue blanket
