Kevy Almighty
Because you woke up this morning,
Thank God.
Because you have all of your senses,
Thank God.
Because your heart still beats on time,
Thank God.
Because you're not homeless,
Thank God.
Because you have feelings,
Thank God.
Because you were once put in a situation where you could've died but you didn't,
Thank God.
Beause you have at least one person that you can count on in the darkest of times,
Thank God.
Because you still have hope,
Thank God.
Because you can understand poetry and love poetry,
Thank God.
Early morning thoughts.
You're blessed.

Do you put me away in a box
Just the way you used to tidy away your toys as a child

Did your Mother say ...
One thing at a time
Put away what isn't needed right now

So here I am
Sitting in my box
Waiting

Yep I understand
It would be easier by far if I didn't maybe

You are busy
With responsibilities
Your world becomes smaller
I think when I saw you last just for a moment
I realised how hard you find it all

It is an art
Sharing yourself with more than one person at a time
Sharing your time
I did give a sideways comment on the fact that
if this was a permanent thing
I would never see you
You assured me you would be better at organising things if that was the case

It makes me wonder if that is true

Are you really able to tip all your toys in the middle of the carpet
Are you able to de-compartmentalize your relationships

Or will you pack your toys away tidy at the end of the day

*Would mother still agree that this is such a good way to be?
Does anyone in your life have the same problem .... what does compartmentalization mean to you?

the middle commonplace
     poor dears
weak of voice
          making minimum wage
for all the
      billionaire
investors making up Wall street
          holding in servitude
   the poor dude
trying to pay his
         child support
with no health care
    when he gave
his sanity in Iraq.
or the single mother
         sharing with the desolate faces
the disgrace of
     going to the food bank:
           the land of the free
home of the brave
has turned into the home of the rich:
oligarchy entrenches,
          that is why
i gave up
    a long time ago.
I looked back,
    once there was a middle
class.

hard keeps

wordvango
it is hard to keep arranged the dichotomies when
you are strange
harder to line up the theme with meaning when
you forgot the dreams
I forgot the cast, the leading lady, the antagonist,
the hero the villains,
the theater where it all takes place.
When the curtain dropped,
the flowers died, the audience no longer cried.
But some of us remained.
long after the echoes died
the bouquets dried up
the house lights came up
showing the mascara running
wild down our
lonesome faces.
bitterly i remember
in my first simplification class
i forgot BODMAS.

boys around me
solved gleefully
while my pencil
showed no will
to budge with the clock
bent on making me a laughing stock
before my peers.

it's such times in life
when devils raid
to come to your aid.

i gave a furtive look
to the notebook
of the boy next to me
put an equal to sign
and to the sum's next line
wrote nine.

what followed i would keep to mine.
Sparrow's twitter
From the dawn of
Hearing the hassle of Myna
This morning
Or the Singing Cuckoo
Of yesterday afternoon

Read the language of their time
When they say it certainly
As the Morning
Evenings
Or mid of the Summer noon

Read their body language
When they are sounding
Beside window
Or playing
In the lake water

Draw my attention
But I don't understand
Completely
Assume
It is a pester
Argue with friends
Or by calling the dear
At this time,
We say that the Spring
Or Say any unspoken Dream
Seeking through the Bridge
That breezing over Heart
And The Soul

You invite
The spring comes
But I do not understand
So what are the
Give your tunes
I sorted the words

Whatever may be the tune
Guess again,
Or partial
But they say
We see
Hear
Their songs
Their mother tongue

They pointed out that
Indicates
Each other
To visit the open sky
Afield
Dance with the wind
It also has to
Entertained
Any pain that may be broken
Their heart
Playing a melancholy tune

Which refers to the words
Of their mother
The words
Of the Nature
Realizes that we
But  never try to feel with the heart
/
The Language of Birds
That we have never tried to feel with the heart
