I am not a woman
No, not a man either
No flesh so keep shush
Crossing borderlines
Of love and hate

Through letters
Perfectly distorted
By motion of emotions
Spilling ink through papers
I am born free to wander

My body is a story
Of pain and pleasure
Slipping through time
Yet keep sailing away
From oblivion*

-I am a poem.
Lately I have this strange feeling of not being a human anymore.
I feel like my biological composition is fleeing and what's left are pure emotions.
And it's actually good, I can be anywhere, be anyone, genderless but still has an identity..

I never knew I was filled with a light
Until the darkness became my home
A dawning day in the black of night
Where pain and regret and fear call home

But I made a choice to react with love
Not following the path the darkness led
A gift that is given from up above
Creating new life where once was death

Because there is freedom in the fall
When your fears are realized
Creating love from the chaos of it all
The choice was mine to decide

Light of day and dark of night
Together they both play a part
In my heart, there’s a shining light
Illuminating beauty in the dark

The water is a dangerous mirror.
Under a chaotic wind swept surface
I see myself, almost formless;
Clinging to old memories
like a drowning man
clings to the hope for air.
The bigger the heart
The harder they fall
And I can't bear to watch yours bleeding

The harder the luck
The tougher the call
Just tell me what it is you're needing

It's not too late to cry
I'm here by your side
If you're lonely tonight

I can love you - let me love you
Because if seeing is believing
I won't watch you walk out that door

you look through the beauty inside
you look through the beauty outside
but you don't know the beauty of pain
