Beliefs
Effect areas
Of our intelligence
That sould otherwise
Contemplate logically

Waiting for
Miracles
Impossibly real
Stuck in caves
Where kindness
And fear
Come together
And ****

More than an image
The sky outside
Turn around
And run for the real life!

In the darkest depth of night
No moon, no star, no sight
I find no fear , no foe
In the presents of my soul!

In knowing beyond belief
No longer is life a thief
Imagine the relief..
In a world of so much grief!

AB  - This world,
Oh man this world is a comedic catastrophe and too much
agony,
I've brushed away people causing division,
Flowers still grow under my feet praising my kindness,
But my niceness can be mistaken for weakness
even by nice people,
Can't trust too many nice motherfuckas nowadays,
We can now go our separate ways,
**** your advice, and **** your ways,
**** all the people in my past that did me wrong , no price is paid,
Baby rejection is protection,
We were never ever the same,
Self awareness and common sense meets logic,
The human brain can only do so much,
Consciousness electrifying beyond universes,
Thoughts racing into better circumstances,
Better choices,
So be mad when its you I would erase, you are a phase,
Don't betray my trust , it could get ugly,
Make up a sob excuse for what you did, waddle like a little puppy,
This world is a joke and when it ends , it still will begin.

A.R. - There’s a stretch
Of shadow
Standing in
the hallway.
I don’t know how
It got there.
I don’t remember
Opening the door
Or letting anyone
With such a
Cruel grin
Inside my
Heart
To mock me.

There’s a streak
Of shadow
Running the bridge
Of my memories.
Chasing fast,
chasing.
Reminding me.
Reminding.
Not to fall
Ever.

They say it’s best
To expect the harm
From other human beings.
Its yours anyway
If you ignore it.
Your fate, your fault
Your flaw.
No excuse for innocence
Even if we all
Join this world
With it
intrinsic.
**** that.

There’s an obscene
arsenal of barbs
And daggers.
Piled up on the
hardwood floor.
A Battle Royale
In waiting.
But I won’t touch
A single one.
Not even for the shadows.

Cut me down
And I’ll be shorter
But I’ll never be
Anyone but
Me.

People too stupid to notice,
People too Naive to care,
People really ain't prepared,
They can't wait for warfare,
Try to dumb you down with music , media and comedy,
Foods and toothcare, fluorided just to stop prosperity,
They live,
Put them glasses on and see for yourself,
This ain't conspiracies afoot,
you'll see it when its there,
Programming your body through music to turn your
mind to mush,
Make you feel a certain way , violent acts you think is good,
Government documents that they have that explains
The power of black people,
Thats why they ****** us up for decades, our minds are
not feeble,
We realizing that now , guess its over for them,
Everybody come together we'll break the ******* sim,
They want you to rely on them,
Have a president,
Have people with multimillion dollar companies invest in them,
Want you to obey law , when the law don't follow itself,
Make you feel low vibrational so you can't help yourself,
Protect your energy.

There’s a family of bullfrogs nearby
Their cries rise and volley
Shimmering in mezzo-soprano melancholy
A torch song to the new moon,
Pleading her silver bloom
return to the black spring sky.

Hum
Today I pulled a plum,
Apart with my fingers and my thumb.
I did not use a knife,
But held it open to examine life.
And when I finally ate
It tasted all the more richer.
And the texture
Was a virtuoso in visceral sensuality;
Vibrant and mouthful.
The enveloping heat from the sun
Moved through my body like a homerun.
And sounds exploded in my eardrum,
Replacing the peace with a sweet hum.

Today was a sad song day
And I am alive.

I read a poem about love and tomatoes
that moved me to tears

And it’s raining now,
storming.

And I am alive.

Were I a different kind of mother,
the kind from movies,
I would wake you up so we could run outside and dance flailingly in the front yard as the neighbors peer through their slatted blinds, shaking their heads.

The storm has already slowed, though.
It always ends eventually.

The rain will bring tomatoes
and soften the grass between your tiny toes.

And I am alive.

How perfectly my aliveness fits my every me,
how much room there is in here.
If fill my aliveness to the very top, somehow it is never full,
there is always space for another swirling galaxy,
another thunderstorm
another sad song.

Tomorrow there will be tomatoes
and soft grass and tiny toes.

Today was a sad song day.
And I am alive.

My curls, full and voluminous, I treasure
Each one tells a story.
People flock to touch,
Grasping them like gold,
They ask: “How did you get them such?”
“Are they natural?” Some scold,
In a world full of fakes, that hits like a punch.
“Yes!” I reply with pride,
My curls are my mane, grabbing them, I scrunch,
Jealousy can slide!
My curls are my shield;
They mask my doubt, comparisons
Much profit they yield!
You can tell a lot from my curls:
When I am tired and lazy,
When I treat them like 'my girls,'
When I'm sassy and crazy.
When they’re not washed for weeks,
My mental health radar
Send me obvious tweaks -
“Don’t disconnect, come back, savour,
Reconnect with yourself and the world,”
My curls are my most significant feature;
My crown of glory.

Sparkle, little diamond,
Wipe the dust off and
Feel your infinite potential within.
Dormancy may have been your norm,
But no more!
Shine.
