.
And so he sits
once more
folding his life
into an origami box.
Paper walls,
cellophane ceilings.
Counting out syllables.
Sequenced
to twist-**** the mind.
And quietly
he sits
ghosting the room.

All my life I have been saying,
"I am lost."
"I am lost."
"I
Am
   Lost."

Really, I should have been saying,
"I am only lost
  From my soul."
When you feel lost, it is because you miss your soul.

Sleep.
Easy to spell.
Easy to write.
Easy to say.
But hard for the insomniac.

Sleep deprivation.
Hard to spell when hallucinating.
Hard to write with eyes closing.
Hard to say while decomposing—a rare case, it’s true.
But easy for the insomniac.

Why is it so difficult to:

    Stop for the night,
    Leave entertainment behind,
    Ease body in bed,
    Elude conscious thought, and
    Peacefully rest
    ?
This is for those who struggle with insomnia and/or just find it difficult to go to bed.

I've not picked up the pen in a while
It feels alien to the touch
Former flowing words
Now barely drip

This paper so cold to the touch
Which used to be so warm
My canvas of former dreams
Now stares back like a nightmare
Writersblock creative frustration

Sometimes when a relationship outgrows itself...its better to let go of it.  The first few days will hurt a lot but in time you realize that it was for the best. There are a lot of actions you will take in life that might not be pleasant but you still need to take them 'coz its the right thing to do.
The thoughts
that blacken the day
Strike like a punch
Bruise and lump
Sticking out like a sore thumb
Taking on the fears you become
Insecurities run rampart
Throbbing in the heart
Tearing love apart
Kicking up the dirt
You feel
It stabs
It hurts
You cry
You numb
You succumb
Purging the night sky
In the corner of your eye you see a star shine Bright

Rejection is a wound nobody is immune to
Its taste is sour and bitter
It makes your gums bleed

Rejection is always by your side
But never is a friend
But never is a lover

Rejection chases away sobriety
Looking to stop the pain
Looking to fill the void

Rejection pushes trust out of your life
Whispers that she's all you'll need
& makes you go deaf to the world
//On love//
