Jesus, all holy and beautiful
Jesus, all glorious, awesome
Worthy of praise

Jesus, all holy and all I need
Jesus, you come in the darkest
The troubles of night

Jesus, my saviour, my needs
Are met in you
All that I need is found in you

Jesus, Jesus, merciful, greatness
Our hope for peace in this world
That is looking for hope

Jesus, all majesty, power
You are the victory in every trial
You are so wonderful, precious to me

Jesus, Jesus, praise your name
Praise you in every way, every day
Jesus, all majesty, glorious, merciful God

Oh the power of the wonder
To the glory and majesty of God
Praise to His holy name
Great in all ways
Wonderful, beautiful saviour
My God
Jesus walks on this earth
Bringing peace and healing
A broken world
Showing the glory of who
He is
Stand to give praise
To our saviour and friend
No one is greater in all
The universe than Jesus
He is the vision of  mercy
Beholding the greatness of power
Coming to heal and power to forgive
Sinners seeking the Lord
No one comes with deity
In glorious majesty
Showing the way of His words
Bringing the lost to where there is hope
To live in heaven with Him
The wonder so beautiful in all
The world to see
Jesus faithful to save our souls
Oh, oh, the wonder and beauty
Surrounding Jesus
Is reason to offer praise

The love so great it humbles me
The love of power and purity
Transcends all others
The glory of Jesus is love to me

Above this world and the universe
There is a name I love above
All the rest
Jesus, Jesus, precious to me
A name that speaks of love
Witnesses songs of hope
Surveys the world with
Mercy, forgiveness and goodness
Jesus comes to heal with
A promise of hope and compassion
Sinners seeking  forgiveness are
Carried past sorrows to live in a
Place of peace and joy
For all eternity in heaven
With Jesus, Jesus precious
He is the only God
His is the holy and precious name
The name I love
Father God, Jesus, Jesus
Triumphant in glory
Radiant saviour  holy
Revealing the wonder that
He holds in His hands
Jesus, comfort and healing
Praising the awesome one
Glory to God
How I love the name of Jesus
His name is wonderful, glorious saviour
Holding the ones who call on His name

Can I find a truth,
Within the walls of the soul?
Or aimless reasons?

It is usually best to avoid
crushing hopelessness, to swerve
and defer disaster, but even so
the world is well and truly ****** up.

Seek solutions to this conundrum.

Try to avoid curiosity, a pernicious
strain of insanity that conjures up
irrational fears of orangutangs
with meat cleavers, lethally ascetic
Tibetan monks, bathroom carpets
of abandoned razors or Big Macs
rife with E. Coli.

Avoid metaphysical musings that lead
to questions of coleslaw, vegan
water parks, the Team Quadraplegic
Gymnastics squad and the horrors
of the Hilary Clinton Naked Network.

Seek refuge in the present tense to
escape the interrogation of mirrors,
the crafted answer, dacryphilia,
remedial rage, landslides of therapy
and memorizing each month's horoscope.

Consider that mercy is on back order from God.
Remember the best lines of an unread book.
Nap on a battlefield; haggle over imaginary debts.
Set fire to the umbrellas of passing strangers.
Stop to watch the loudness and burn the recovered dead.

Call up new magic for a dying world.
Find beauty in the irradiated glow of burning cities.
Try not to bounce existential checks or notice
the crumbling of distant walls, ruined outhouses,
and the immense bleakness of forever and ever.

Take up training small rodents and lighting holy fires.
Ignore the broken stars, long dead and beyond grief.
Discover the pleasure in erasure, enjoy the biology
of strangeness. Walk many miles without a map
beneath innumerable ladders carefully detouring
around immense flocks of rabid cassowaries.
Throttle the recalcitrant blue sky's silent throat.

Listen to the melody of car wrecks and smashed guitars.
Abandon assumed corpses to dreams of endless cold.
Appreciate futures you cannot believe in but never visit them.
Learn to diagram sentences in Esperanto then speak with toads.
Ignore the slot machine odds against your deepest desires.
Hide beneath the ravenous trees from time's famished maw.
Seek sanctuary in toothy optimism and complete amnesia.

Follow these impossible instructions to the letter
and you will become non-valent, invisible, immune
and no longer notice the world is ****** up
beyond redemption. Go on, give it a try.

A man went for a walk one day. He seemed to be searching for something as he hurried about, "Just a rock covered in dirt nothing special he says while he walks away".
A little girl walking down the same path carefully inspects each rock
She examines each one and than picks up the same rock that the man
  had rejected.
She holds it in her hands lifts it up toward the sun and says," you may not look like much outside , but I have a feeling that your true worth lies within you".
She excitedly skips down the path and brings it home and proudly presents the rock to her father.
He carefully takes the rock and breaks it open and discovers the treasure that lies within, a geode that is sparkling like diamonds in the light.
In life people at times are too quick to judge according to appearances alone. They hurry through life seem to be searching for something but not taking time to discover what life has to offer us through one another. They might even perceive that another person is like dirt, and with that misconception they miss out in discovering another's true worth.
Upon closer examination they might discover that the other person has many great qualities and can become a treasured friend.
If only they would slow down and take the time to take a closer look so that they don't miss the hidden treasure that lies within.

as now
   we end

a cold anger
has almost
   killed my kindness

   turned me
   into granite

lethal insults
hurled with fury
   shatter on my skin
   leave me
   untouched

I have become
quite invulnerable
to human outrage

maybe this is
what I resent
most

Day
I had opened my wings to fly,
but I forgot that they were broken,
by the crush of a lie,
so I fell,
opening my eyes to see
black teardrops
falling with me,
and I saw,
that even a soul become evil and dark
can know sorrow and regret
from an angels remark.
I see so much Light-bringers here , bless you all.
I see true Hope through you my friends thank you.
For it shines so much brighter coming from you.
Ordinary people with such an extraordinary gift.
Drawing me into true Hope and True light from Christ.
This is his gift to each of us, to see the Light in others.
Thus giving us each true Hope through you , he uses.
To reveal life and the Light to others drawing them in.
So I may say thank you to each of you for this gift to others.
looking right at me
you exposed a comely breast
a blithe seduction
driving me to distraction
letters falling from my hands
at a total loss for words
scrabble forgotten
