Silence Screamz
If your story does not hold up in the light,  then you will spend the rest of your life in the dark.
the lapping water drifting to the sand,
the smugglers hurry o'er the silver wave,
a rose-moon blushing where the waters lave
and moonlight glistens on the breezy strand.
the oars are steady, gliding to the land
the stroke of midnight near a watery cave,
their whisp'ring feet run silent as a grave
to its dark reach to hide the contraband.
the waves roll mistily with honeyed breath
the sky, a vault of iron, weeps a tear,
the sweeping waters break and start to veer,
a gold tooth glints, the night as black as death,
a dreadful shout, the watch is drawing near,
how suddenly their faces pall with fear!

Ranger
Sitting in moon light
And in hand in hand
There eyes looking deep in each other
Silent and calm
Under a tree
There hearts beating in step
Unspeaking as they hold each other
A silent promise
Before the thousand stars
Forever and always

Eyes to the skies and mantra repeating
this is the time that I see it all clear
hands on the grass heart steady beating
hardly believing the days led to here
the moon slowly croons head in her keeping
this is the air that I presently breathe
I realize now that I've always been sleeping
nature content in it's beauty to wreathe
light of the night disturbing my slumber
in a way only magic of the eve really can
seeing the world in deep shades of umber
I live in the present in love with the land

Another sleepless night
3am, a bit beyond
the witching hour

A time of quiet reflection
Remembering dreams lost
& Creating dreams to be

Thinking of past sorrows
Anticipating tomorrow's
Joys

Another sleepless night

Contemplating Life's mystery
And
Marveling at the
Wonder of it all...

Lunatic
Today I will see morning light
Well not because I wake up early
Though often dreams are fairly
Just I won't fall asleep this night

The wood and it's ashes
Suspended into the atmosphere
Embraced the fog and the curled up cat
Who purred
And drifted into her dream
While the old watchman
Watched the fire go out
Reflecting upon his bifocals.

Drunken boys
Walked with a drunken walk
Into their houses
Also
Drifted off to sleep
Wishing they woke up
To lust and money
That came from nowhere.

The homeless
Slipped into their rags and papers
Wanting to wake up
To, oh well,just another day
With promised food.
While rats re-scavenged
On the scavanged morsels

The women sang songs
Of elves to their newly born
Who understood none
Yet slipped into a world
Of ambiguity
Till the dawn

The day slept
Within the blanket of darkness
And a moon
Full of cheese and a rabbit within
Made of a whole bunch of craters
That soaked up
Hunger,thirst,failure and fatigue
Of the day

Love
Falling in and out of people
And tears
That only fell out
Whispered into the ears of tomorrow
To be better
To be less deceitful.

Elizabeth Squires
a luminous moon
sailed o'er the sky last night
on a mystery tour
In something of a chaotic stupor,
the Moon tells me
(among other things)
to be nice to people
because you can never know
what they're going through,
if you'll ever see them again-
or if you're the last person they'll ever see.
So,
you may as well practice kindness
with every being you meet
no matter for how long.

You never quite know.
You just might make someone's day.
You just might save someone's life.

Worst case scenario, you're being nice,
and that's not really so bad, after all.
