There is a fire behind my eyes.
All you have to do is look inside.
Choose the story you want to see,
it’s what I have to do daily.
I understand
flames are scary.
This fire is consuming me.
Look deep inside
see me,
the whole story.

There is a fire burning my skies,
whipping at my heart,
see it in my eyes.
After all the damage done
will there be a shining sun?
“Help..”
is it heard? In a forest of hate?
It’s all burning down
the flowers and the lace.

There is a fire burning in my eyes-
look inside,
can you see it behind the lies?
Do i mask it well inside?
What can you see?
tell me,
Has it burnt away everything in sight?
...Am I going out of my mind?
Maybe the flames have consumed it,
and there’s nothing left
but a useless pit.

But there is a fire inside of me
it is a light
for all who choose to see.
It is a warmth inside my heart.
Some beautiful kind of art.
The fire behind my eyes is real-?I will keep it bright,?so you can see
every single thing I feel...
Flames of hope flickering.
The fire of faith burning.
Love.
Yearning.
This fire is simply the flames of fate
leading me to my pearly gate.

It is everything in sight.?
So I will stand tall,
be a light.
I’ll spread brightness in this fight.
Because we fight a war of love and hate,
battling to set everything straight.
Look in my eyes
you’ll see that fire,
the burning hope and desire.

I hope that you can look at me
and simply see see
the entire story...

There is a fire behind my eyes.
Look inside.
I can feel you suffering from anexity
Even though you smile like the sun just kissed your lips
While you read this poem
Let the words embrace your cold chest
Let them warm you up
Honey
You can't run forever
One day your feet will bleed
And you will lose your breath
#sun #smile #honey #lose #kiss #lips #gone #over
I started to smile today I felt safe nothing has changed just may way of thinking I feel like a new person I still see the scares and feel kinda lost but I don't feel alone like so many days in the past the pain feels like is easing the smile was kinda pleasing I just started to remember the laughs we shared the ice cream trips but now the dark sneaks in I am starting to feel lost I know what changed I opened my eyes and started to wake I then had to remember that my beautiful dream was only fake of memories past the hardest lesson I had to learn is all good things never last

Tryst
Beneath the window, shadows paint the hill
And rooftop solar panels feel the chill
Blue eyes are drawn down to the river's flow
The Derwent sweeps majestically below

Across the water, shadows stretch and climb
The twilights of the city start to shine
Above, the mountain cloaked in cloudy stripes
That race along above the ***** pipes

The setting sun now sets the clouds on fire
A fiery orange blazing funeral pyre
It lights the heavens with a mystic glow
As nature plays her perfect picture show

The colors shift and swiftly turn to red
As bloodstained cloudy fingers start to spread
Then in an instant, beauty is undone
As darkness falls above the setting sun
A poem for Joe Cole, who requested I write about the view from my window.  We get some amazing sunsets in Hobart, we overlook the river Derwent, Hobart City and Mount Wellington.  The reference to ***** pipes refers to the most prominent feature of the mountain, plenty of images available online for anyone interested enough to Google.

there are some words better
spoken in silence,
like a gentle touch and a soft
smile with the one you love.

Tryst
On silver wings
She flew
She flew
And left me all alone

To wander on
Anon
Anon
And there her feet will roam

Until the day
Is done
Is done
When evening starts to gloam

And silver wings
Will fly
Will fly
To bring her safely home
For my beautiful wife, away on a conference for a few days
