Light casting shadows
On darkened walks
Making one larger
Then life
Could be eerie
Depending on where

round and flat

Here's a balloon
Here's a plate

Reminds me
to celebrate with

An oblate pear
on steroids and
a flat Greek cake

A stupendous combination

Have I sinned?

fill the world with love let the fighting cease
fill the world with happiness with nothing else but peace
let us live together let us all unite
make the world a happy place make the future bright.

let us live as one with lots of love to share
share it with the world each and everywhere.
the world be so happy a better place to live
with peace for evermore with only love to give

I was dazzled - in
a summer spell - did we both
name it as special?

Was it the summer
freedom - the sparkling lake
that summoned magic?

The constant sun sent
a subliminal message
with its rise and fall.

It won’t last, it said,
there's an expiration
date approaching fast.

The short-lived summer
proved a brief, insubstantial
memory making.
