Forgetful they call me,a man of few words
Let me be, and forever open doors
Open your soul, open your mind
Travel in your mold, and leave your troubles behind
Lossen up, and be free
Loose the red solo cup, and get a hold of this rolled-up tree
Loose the stress, Let me be your preacher
Take the express, and find your inner creature
I once meant everything to you.
I was yours as much as you were mine.
No one could come between us.
No one to jeopardize what was fated to be.
—or so I thought.
It always begins perfectly.
falling in love,
Becoming captivated in embraces, voices, hugs...
Then things turn awry.
Simple issues become large.
Positivity swings to negativity,
Love turns to hate.
Love making turns to meaningless *****.
Warm embraces run cold.
Bonds dwindle into oblivion.
No more cuddling.
No more touch.
No more feelings.
No more love.
Regretfully—No more us.
Flipping another page,
But I already know that the words sound gross,
I hate my position and the cards been dealt,
The feelings that were felt,
And the hand I took,
Made me have to relook,
At what's in store,
We can't see it as a volcano,
On a distant island,
But man its tough to see the helicopter,
Made of sticks,
I promised that my heart never quits,
So ill dig my toes in the sand,
Outside my heartbreak hotel,
And watch as my emotional Malibu,
Goes to hell.
The fire crackles

The air so crisp
The sun so bright
only nature calling to me
smelling the pureness that surrounds me
allowing me to breath deeply
inhaling all the pains
and so forcefully releasing
as I sit at the mountain top
I hear the winds whispering to me
your soul belongs to me
the earth
the sun
the water
the air
and for a moment
I am pure
giving me strength
to smile
wipe away the tears
and descend from the Mountain top
back into the world
refreshed
willing
and able to love
once again

The Mountain Top

And as I look over these city lights
It's nights like these nights
Where I feel that I might just go to hell
a little earlier than planned

When my mind will not stop pacing
When all I want is for my heart to stop racing
It's nights like these nights
That I wish I could give up the fight

The clouds over your head start to drown your every thought
your every being
With a deluge that comes but never goes
It's  nights like these nights
these  nights

You feel yourself falling and falling
it's like a bad dream
but
you never wake up
It's nights like these nights
oh, these hopeless nights

And when these nights
turn into days
when days turn into weeks
and weeks turn into months
and months turn into years

You start to wonder...
WHEN.
When.
when.
are nights like these
going
to
end
