Down and out
Running into the ground
U are always there for me
Galaxy I'm chilling in
Sadness is a sin when you're druggin

Throwing words
like tossed pebbles
at his window
in the clouds-

no one home
but the rain
and the wind
that blew once-

once for you-
I threw pebbles
at the clouds
just for you.

Underneath the painted rock
you'll find a key
I ain't much for hiding
but that's just me
There's a book of pomes (yeah, pomes)
beneath my pillow
You might find one or two
to your liking
But that's a'right if you don't
I wrote 'em
for you, any ol' way
Come September
if I don't remember
where I hid my key
That book of pomes'll be
still beneath my pillow
If you care
to take a read.

I was not that lucky

Not that lucky

Always.

Till came you

Came you

Filled heart’s space.

I was not that lucky

Not that lucky

Ever before.

Till you walked in

Walked in

Through my door.

I was not that lucky

Not that lucky

In the past.

Till you stepped in

Stepped in

Placed me trust.

I was not that lucky

Not that lucky

Had times arid.

Till you brought rain

Brought rain

Sowed love’s seed.

Seán Mac Falls
Last words with her,
So indifferent, so short,
The spoken tongues lashed
Indecipherable, unearthing
Doom, whitewashing the truths,
Forgotten blues of California sky,
Abandoned in that glean, garish glare
Of yellow sun,
            Fearing naught, the dark moon
Would soon arrive, taking place of all
Our glazed, lost, light.
Raindrops wished them
colors seven
obliged sunflame
sliced heaven.

********

Far from hometown
day hangs still
last sun falls down
nimbus hill.

********

Reign they all day
changing quick
rain and sun play
hide and seek.

********

Skims she gaily
July shower
gathering merrily
wildflower.

*********

I see the King
standing on ruin
madly searching
where is Queen.

**********

Say her smiles
though places she roam

love end of miles
waiting home.
She was my good lover

Thought she would make me
A good wife

But

She carved me the fate

Of being

A poet for life!
