love v. the world
Bleu Ruby Jun 2014
She wanted to smoke cigarettes
So she asked her older sister's friend

She wanted to go to that concert
So she bought a fake id

She wanted to ****
So she told the boy he was in luck
He obliged
Of course

She always gets what she wants
The world loves her

She turned 21
And things stopped being fun
So she threw out her fake
And didn't need her sister's friend

She bought a *** toy
So she didn't need the boy

But even still
She wanted to die
So she took some pills

And people cried when they realised
*The world stopped loving her

"it doesn't even hurt"
she told  me
"what's the point
if it doesn't even hurt?"

letter to myself
Bleu Ruby May 2014
maybe if I had another
maybe it wouldn't be a bother
maybe if I had another
soon I will discover

bye bye bye
life that was beautiful
bye bye bye
life that was hopeful
for you to make of it

attention
Bleu Ruby Apr 2014
I've come to the conclusion
my body loves being looked at
but hates attention
I decided to share this
intimate thought
with her
but she laughed
and told me there wasn't a difference

laughter
Bleu Ruby Apr 2014
She laughed until her voice gave out,
letting his smile engulf hers.
Time seemed to move too quickly
and she did not know why
she let his cold, anxious fingertips
linger up her dress.
But he made her laugh so much
she didn't have words to speak.

She was a dreamer
who dreamt so much her heart fell
out of reality
She became hollow with a hidden brain
A brain that waits to be awakened
Sparked with the life of a five year old
To match her heart
Yet as she smoked cigarettes
and drowned herself in wine
her heart began to age
and her brain completely vanishing
She wanted to be awakened
by anyone
anything
so she chose freedom
A false concept of freedom
that she's convinced exists

She packed her bag with 75 dollars
and a letter to her mother
she didn't have the heart to leave behind
When she began taking her first steps
a smile appeared on her face
For the first time
in a long time
she felt content with herself

act of kindness
Bleu Ruby Mar 2014
she told me on a rainy night
that she would like to lay outside
like a sponge
it was meant to sound funny
but i told her it was beautiful
so she told me to leave

I will be human
Bleu Ruby Mar 2014
You told me not to cry
I will cry
I will cry my eyes out
if i **** well please
Do not tell me to stop being human

I will cling to my right to cry
because everything else seems to be
out of reach
The common rights for all humans
were not given to me in the first place

So do not ever again
tell me not to cry
Do not ever try to take my basic right
to be human away from me
I will be human

yelp review poem
Bleu Ruby Mar 2014
I can't believe I've never been here
a little dingey and smelled musty, which put me off - but what do you expect
the service seemed a bit cold
Just be on the watch
and be wary of the ****** blonde
To top it off, there was a rude punk couple shopping and they continuously got in my way
they seemed pretty shallow and unwelcoming
plus they smell quite funky!
I suddenly liked everything A LOT less

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!
WHAT A GEM in the rough! WOW.
(usually HUGEEEEEEEE *** selection)
There were a couple of guys taking off their shirts
Oh yes oh yes oh yes! Vintage ******!!!
it feels SO good!
but not as good
I wasn't in the mood
already had that "worn in" feeling
(dark yellow sweat and green mold stains inside a fedora)
Ewww! tossed that hat back real quick.
This place is just not for me!
Yeah, no thanks.
