The lesser gifts.
I hold.
Loosely in my hand.
For they could fly away.
At any moment.

The Greatest Gift of all.
I cling to.
Never letting go.
For He is the One.
Who keeps my soul.
And to Him alone.
My life.
I owe.
bee pecks on bloom's lips
acting coy, she turns away,
slyly eyes him once.
Nailed and ******* on hands and legs,
Maimed and marred beyond repair,
Cut and bruised out of shape,
Stripped and peeled, so bare to shock,

Lo, there lies a man! The Son of God,
On a cross erected on the summit of the Mount,
Brutally suspended between Earth and Sky,
Stationed amid thieves on either side.

He slipped and slithered under the yoke of weight,
And tottered the rugged route to Calvary,
Scourged and flogged all along,
He bore the cross with none to help.

Never complained nor cursed but suffered the pangs,
Never whined nor moaned, but drained the cup,
Through His death, mankind was to be redeemed,
By His precious blood, their infirmities to be cleansed

It was for our sins that He lay down His life,
It was our misdeeds that made Him bleed,
It was for our lust that He was painfully stripped,
It was our arrogance that bent Him low.

None could gauge the agony he endured,
No man ever performed such a daring deed,
To liberate mankind, the Lamb was slain,
To lead his Flock, He walked in front.

‘Love your enemy’ was the mantra He recited,
What He preached, He relentlessly practised,
While writhing in pain, He prayed for His foes,
Pleaded with his Father to spare the wrath.

When wrongly accused, never said He a word,
Unruffled remained He on painfully betrayed,
Hard it was to be deserted by those He loved,
Sore it was to be treated so very rude.

The Son of Man came seeking the missing sheep,
He builds from where everything is wrecked,
Rejoice in Him, for He is our Lord!
Adore and worship, He deserves to be praised.

Peace was what He promised the world,
Grace was what He gifted to all,
Look up to the Cross when trials confront,
And cast your burden at His feet!
On this Good Friday, on contemplating the agony of my Lord, I got inspired to write this!
HANNAH ROSE HAS ARISEN!!!

Alive by the Water
The River of Life
I wish it to fill me
Come goodness or strife
I want it to flow from me
I want it to well
I want it to heal me
Tale to tell!

God in His mercy
Won't keep us in jail
Jesus, our ransom
Provided the bail
The creature's been groaning
Since Adam's Fall
Jesus Christ saves us
O please heed His call!

All the king's horses
And all the king's gold
Can't stop a man's sickness
Can't stop growing old
Only God's Spirit
Brings life to the flesh
We can be healed
Our bodies refreshed!

I sit by this River
I put in my feet
Immerse my body
The Spirit to greet!
Then when Life's Water
Comes with an art
The Water saves lives

As it flows from my heart!

Great news about Hannah Rose!
She's up and WALKING! She still needs assistance, but is in excellent spirits. Earlier this week she had a Divine Revelation of God's Love for her, and indeed, for US ALL!

Thanks to all who prayed!

The Holy Spirit really MOVED!
"Deaf Ears"

You were shouting
Screaming the things you buried
Crying your heart out
Mumbling the words you held captive
You did not bother
You shouldn't
For you've been rooting for that moment

Pacing your way through the crowd
You didn't mind
For as long as your cries of plea
Would be heard by the person
whom you thought as favorable as  the moon
But as undignified as the scorching sun

You were shouting, screaming
With your unheard  thoughts
Searching for someone who'll listen
But no one even spares an empathetic glance
No one dared to look into your eyes
No one offered a hand
No one gave a ****
No one is there
It all  fall on deaf ears

You realized it was all useless, pointless
Then you weren't shouting nor screaming any longer
That's when they all notice the signs you're giving
That's when they start to turn their heads
That's when they paid attention
That's when you choose to care no more
That's when you decided it's over

And,

That's when you're gone.
He said he was too  ordinary, if he only knew ordinary

things could be breathtakingly beautiful too.
