i am dripping in blankets and warm light
laying here, with you
in this puddle of humans
regurgitated by the Earth herself
i am happy to be here, with you
        happily decomposing
        rapidly recomposing
my ways
        rearranging the staves
        no rest
here, in the dirt
with you
giggling and twiddling
the stars have been swimming
above your sweet face, which is hidden
and i am tripping
on mushrooms
for my mushroom desert princess

tabitha
when i was distant,
you were there
when i am here,
you are

where?

scattered
the floor
getting brushed into corners
not knowing
where the pieces of you belong anymore

i think i know who i am
until the porcelain architecture of you
the sacred curvatures of your song
is put in my hands

should i glue you back together?
could i have a small piece? for keepsake
or should i just let you be safe
and let someone else
melt you down into
some other shape?

i thought if i held you,
you'd pry your wings open
and, well
fly

but dear bird,
i am not magic
i never was to begin with
and now i must come to terms with this

~

why do
i
break every thing
i
touch
sorry
I am to have Star Wars treatment,
placed in ******* in my space,
laced and strapped and branded,
ready for initiation fires
to permeate my skin, purge my sin,

enter in to places undesired,
exercise the halls that have inspired,
pacify the devils now within,
banish, excommunicate their whim,
starve them, beat them, flail them, shrivel them,
send them packing fast,

save the rest a cavernous shell,
glean the remnants of my soul,
change the negative into positive flow,
a strange enlightenment method,
so brutal, so brave, transformed,
perhaps deformed and changed.
This was in 2010.

Atishay
Burden me with Hope
Blind me with expectations
Abstain me from being impulsive
Allure me with your materialism

Then ask me to remember you?

I am a progeny of my own blunders
a result of my own judgement
a prey to my own beliefs
a verse of my own song

I dont need to remember you

If you want yourself to be remembered
Just..

Embellish my lone thoughts with your own
Give shape to my nascent blunt dreams
Dont let go when HE tests , be there
**Being there counts
Remembering a person demands courage.People meet, love, hate and forget. They leave a mark,a scar on your ****** fate.By remembering you give back what you owe .

Bashayer
Am like a black hole
Once you get close to me
You'll be eliminated,
Am like a stiff rule
Once you play with me
You'll be deteriorated,
Am like the North pole
You can't live within me
You'll be devastated.
I rode in the black back seat
at the age of three
From Wichita to Selma
in this land where nothing comes free

Across Texas , Arkansas , Mississippi
under stars I dreamed
While a heartbeat
was ever following me

Strange the things we choose
to remember and recall
Are the things maybe trivial
But are another brick in the wall

I lived in Panama City
until I was twelve
Swam with sharks and rays
Fell in love but on it I won't dwell

I ran with wild mustangs
in the wilds of Spokane
Climbed up the Rockies
Trekked the snows in a winter wonderland

I slept in the desert under
the most gorgeous stars
Ate mushrooms and peyote
trying to figure out who I are

But there's no place
No place , like the one
Where you were born

No place
on earth
Can lead you away that's far

There's no where
Like the dirt running
through your veins

There's no place
like the place where
you got your name

michelle
when my  "i love you"s
thrash against the cage
of my throat
i wonder who i am protecting:
you or me?

it's such a crafty thing
managing to escape
when i thought you couldn't hear me

tell me,
could you feel it in
the press of my fingers on your chest,
the heat of my tongue tracing your lips
?

i guess you could because
when morning came
you
were

*gone

with your sparkling eyes
like crystal ****
and tranquilizing words
smoother than
****** gliding in innocent
veins,
you should stay away
from dark alleys and
promiscuous street corners.

above all else,
avoid her greedy fingers-
She's a user.
I hope the double meaning of the poem is noticeable. enjoy **

Got Guanxi
A long whsispered monologue
Curling up in a ball
The fresh air of winter morning
Sleeping with the lights on
A first and final passionate kiss
Tip toeing down a hallway
Conversations at twilight
Eating chicken wings with nothing to clean your hands
Searching for lost treasure.
Waiting for the rain to come.
Watching a snowflake melt into water.
The first crop of the season.
When somebody hands your wallet in,
And the money still in it.
Reconnecting with old school friends.
Visiting foreign shore and ancient city's.
Building a business, building a brand.
A trip to the Tate national.
The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Neil Young,
For starters.
When the night won't seem to end.
The sound of your voice in the morning.
Breakfast in bed, fresh coffee
In a wide open space.
*For all those times I took you for granted.
