With simple words you make me smile.

Of all things I have encountered
Tis' the one I never expected.
Of all the places I have ever been
Here is where I never thought i'd see.

Of all the people i'd come to know
It is you I never thought would show
How it is to find and feel again
That something my heart could not contain.

Of all the risks out there, too many in line
You are someone I would gladly take.
Of all the chances I have in this lifetime
This is the one I will never break.

I see people dancing in excitement
I see couple giggling in happiness

I see trees waving and bending in silence
I see birds soaring, chirping in eagerness

I see lights shining brightly against dark sky
I see building standing tall and mighty

I see a lady, sitting alone, looking around her
Is there something she's looking for, I asked myself.

I see pair of eyes, all too welled up, I knew the answer.
I see hope, one day she would come out of the shelf.

I remember
The first “hi” from a stranger.
That first approach from someone I only know by name.
The day my silent moment was interrupted by a phone ring.
You have no idea how my heart race when its your name I saw on the screen.

I remember
Those early good morning messages to late night talks.
Every deep, even stuffy conversation, sends shiver down my spine.
The burst of laughter. How you’d crack a joke to keep me entertained.
And how you’d try to annoy me to catch my attention.

I remember
The exchange of thoughts and ideas.
Giving bits of details of what’s running on our head.
The photo messages you sent me. Letting me know what’s going on with your life.
Sharing the good things you see.

I remember
How these moments turned into a memory.
As inevitable as it is, things suddenly change.

I remember
The silent goodbye.
I remember
How it all started and how it all ends.

In your laughter, I found so much joy
In your silence, I am calm and in peace
With those eyes, I found contentment
With your words, you give me comfort.

You are there. Always there for me.
No matter how dark or blue the sky be.
In all seasons: winter, summer, spring or fall
You are my greatest love of all.
