I find it odd how as time goes on we find a reason to set down even our most valuable possessions in place of something new..

Something you had once sworn to be your life-blood can become more like your daily bread.

Not necessarily   necessary....

I guess even diamonds lose their lustre at some point....
I'll always love you kid. Even when the luster is gone right outta you, I'll be there for you.
Keep sparkling Jax man

You got light in you even if you never realize it.

Love always,
-Uncle Blue
There’s a moment to every story

When the prince doesn’t come to save the damsel
The dragon can’t be defeated

And the threads of lies the witch wove
Grow stronger instead of breaking

When chivalry has long since past
And the mourners leave only dying flowers
At a grave that was never there at all

Because no one cared enough
To stop and drag its lowly carcass from the road side
Before the ravens came a pecking

Pecking, pecking
All the while calling in their harsh laughing voices
Never more

Like feathered boogey men to steal away what was never ours
Except in dreams and fairytales

While sprawling trails of ink on paper attempt to record
Every step in a hero’s journey
Without ever stopping him in warning

Of the ravens all the while waiting
With cries of never more
Sometimes watching pretty girl trudge through snow
Dark hair stand out like bright eyes
Against ice and white

She never really know I watching
Hiding out in nothing like monster

Me thinks maybe word for feeling
Watching her makes Yeti feel warm inside
Even when it grows dark and there is no light

Hear other human call feeling love
Love sounds warm and soft... but is sometimes sad
Like fluffy kitten that chokes to death on bit of pretty ribbon

Like Yeti hiding in snow
Watching pretty girl that will never know

But now it is time to go
While feeling warm in ice and snow

Maybe one day she will know
Yeti loved her

Monday,

November,

Present Date....

Alive,

Awaiting Objectives.
I wrote this just before christmas last year.
Even the one
who lights the world
can succumb to the darkness inside.

We become blind
and see only the light.

The darkness can easily hide.

So you've scattered yourself
to the billions of stars that
blanket the billowing night

to help hold at bay
the darkness that preys
on the strong
and the weak
and the rich
and the poor
and the brilliant
and dull ones
alike.

You gave of yourself
with such ferocity of truth.

You fought with all of your might.

So thank you, old friend
for sharing your gift
and rest now
in peaceful twilight.

Epic Monkey
Innocent child
Spark denied
Hardly strived a final strife
Justice died
Mother cried
As hazard tried to save his live

Innocence-spilling massacre
Infant weeping
Held by his dying mother
Suddenly sleeping
Desperately leaving
This world to another

A masterpiece of insanity
A disgrace to humanity

Manipulated politicians
Manipulating ignorants
Discriminating religions
Yet same God is worshiped
Same peaceful visions
Yet all drown in hate
and proudly claim
to be believers
Yet **** in His name
like proud imbeciles
for inhuman leaders

Go read your holy books
Absorb the essence of charity
Accept we're all the same
Refuse the tyranny
Color your brainwashed minds
with stains of compassion
Break the political system
Overshadowing your freedom

Don't let their shams
Carve your misery
Unveil Insanity
Unchain Humanity

~Epic Monkey
For the inhuman insanities happening in many areas in the Middle East especially Ghaza and Moosel. As humans, we can't remain neutral to what is happening!

My path is overgrown with broken beer bottles
On my black eagle I'm goin full throttle.
It's pouring down, all around they're movin like cattle
But slipping from society is only half the battle.
My arms are ancient road maps if you connect the landmarks
Or crevices my black eagle has punctured and pecked at.
But lost you might end up if you don't get on my saddle.
Just went with it
