stop short in
all of the fleeting moments
rose-tinted lenses
i can still feel
the warmth of your skin
through your jacket material
there were more things but i can't remember now.

let’s be love letters
written to broken hearts
with words of kindness, of grace,
of hope.
let’s be love songs
that play over and over,
that echo in every soul.
let’s be shoulders to lean on,
open wide arms,
open wide hearts.
let’s be lights
that lead each other home.

The poet.

The catastrophe of being a poet is that you are an annoying brain with delicate bones made of glass, who watches weird TV shows and reads bizarre newspaper happenings, ponder over the final chapters of your literary idols while walking the rain with hands inside your pajama pockets and dig out incomprehensible meanings someone managed to scribble at the back of his notebooks. Psychologists have such complicated theories about your social ineptitude, hence you die breathing the yellow notebook pages of a second-hand bookstore even though your brain signals warned you about chronic asthma. But you'll live for centuries inside punched hearts, libraries and under lazy bedsheets because at least for a moment you made a total stranger giggle, weep, scream and sometimes jump in joy over a well-penned verse. Did your friends tell you 'you ****'? Well, no one's gonna  remember those *** holes and always remember if not today, but someday you'll be someone's wonderwall.
Staring at the deep blue sky
Often I make a false attempt
To find her face behind
The dark black clouds

I extend my weak hands
To grab those dreams
Which hav pasted
Over those small patches
Since decades over decades
But get only gush of hot air in return
Which passes over my head

Limping beneath the sands of night
Often I make a false attempt
To live that sweetest moment
Once more............

I lit the candle of adoration
To eradicate the darkness of hate
Which hav diffused
In the air of love
Since when I never know
But only to get professional fireman
To extinguish it mercilessly
Appointed specifically by fate

Stripping the shifts of night
Often I make a false attempt
To cover my face with pillow
But in vain I gather it by palm
I land myself on the desert of patience
To wait fr her comeback
Which will never happen though
Still I believe
She will come atleast once
To Compensate the past
Which she skipped once

Still I plunge myself
In those dark shades of night
To stain my sleep
With her existance
Which meant world to me
In past, now and will be till eternity.....

poetry , great words
which are unspoken by lips,
but strengthened with minds
and carved with ideas.

Loneliness is the entity
that follows you
to your bed
and reverberates
in your sheets,
warm and freezing
as you settle in.
It is Loneliness who
serenades you
as sobs piece the night,
whose promises of tomorrow
become less and less
reassuring,
and more and more
**bleak.

echo
The road will bend
the tide will turn
& all that's whispered
will be heard.
I fall to the ground
In a family of seeds.
Lying in the soil
Nature meeting my needs

Coming to life
Through the ground I will breach
Growing so fast
To the sun I must reach

On top of my stem
A bud it did form
Soon it will open
The weathers so warm

The time has come
For me to put on a show
I'm going to bloom
And let everyone know

My color is yellow
Like a lemon so sour
Never have I been
Such a beautiful flower

I smell so sweet
A magnet to bees
Just to get a smell
Humans fall to their knees

Soon my flower fades
The show coming to an end
Please don't be sad
It's just nature my friend

Then jack frost sneaks in
Not making a sound
Freezing my body
All the way to the ground

The snow it does fall
Quietly covering everything
Such a wonderful blanket
I think I'll nap till spring
